Hudson picked up his first save with a clean ninth inning Tuesday against the Blue Jays.

Brad Ziegler pitched in each of the last three games, so Hudson was given the save opportunity Tuesday. Hudson has been fantastic out of the bullpen with a 1.55 ERA and 0.76 WHIP and has solidified himself as Arizona's next closer option should Ziegler falter or fall to injury.

Matzek was outrighted to High-A Modesto on Tuesday.

Matzek missed the start of the 2016 season as he battled an anxiety issue and was optioned to High-A Modesto immediately following his reinstatement on May 19. The Rockies are now choosing to outright the left-hander, meaning he'll stay with High-A Modesto, but be removed from the 40-man roster. This allows the Rockies to make an addition to their roster, which they would be presumably inclined to do in the coming days.

Iglesias (shoulder) was activated off the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.

The Reds get one of their most talented young pitchers back on the roster with the return of Iglesias. The Opening Day starter only made five starts this season before a shoulder impingement landed him on the shelf. He was effective in those five starts, however, notching a 3.49 ERA (backed up by a 3.65 FIP) to go with a 1.45 WHIP. He also struck out more than one batter per inning during that stretch (9.2 K/9). He will be used out of the bullpen for now in order to preserve his shoulder.

Boscan was called up Tuesday and will start against San Francisco, Stephen J. Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Boscan will make his first major league start Tuesday against Johnny Cueto and the Giants. The 26-year-old went 5-5 with a 3.33 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with Triple-A Indianapolis this season. In a corresponding roster move, Curtis Partch was optioned to the minors.

Neris tossed two scoreless innings in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Diamondbacks. He gave up one hit, struck out four and did not walk a batter.

Neris now has back-to-back scoreless outings with five strikeouts and no walks over five innings. Hopefully he is back on track after struggling earlier this month due to a lack of command with his splitter.

Jansen picked up his 20th save behind a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts in Monday's win over Washington.

Jansen has been electric all season. He lowered his ERA to 1.53 and now has a spicy 35:4 K:BB in just 29.1 innings. He continues to be one of the best relievers in baseball and will surely deserve it if he is rewarded with his first All-Star appearance in 2016.

Estevez allowed one hit and struck out one as he pitched the ninth inning of Monday's 5-3 win over the Marlins for his fourth save in as many tries.

Estevez has been lights out since taking over the closer role, going 4-for-4 in save opportunities while allowing just one base runner. He'll likely be the ninth-inning man in Colorado until Jake McGee (knee) returns.

Melancon allowed just one his in one inning to nail his 20th save Monday against the Giants.

Melancon's 6.99 K/9 is low for a closer, but his lack of strikeouts haven't impacted the veteran's excellent 1.59 ERA. He hasn't allowed an earned run since May 15 and has a firm hold on the closer job in Pittsburgh.

Law pitched one scoreless inning and earned his second win of the season during Sunday's outing against the Rays.

Sunday's performance brought the 25-year-old rookie's ERA down to 2.70. Since entering the league, Law has excelled with pitch control and has walked just four batters across 23.1 innings. Additionally, he's been retiring more batters via strikeouts as of late, recording at least one strikeout in each of his last seven games.

Edwards has been recalled to the Cubs, Jesse Rogers of ESPN Chicago reports.

Edwards will take the spot of Dexter Fowler, who was sent to the disabled list by a hamstring injury on Monday. The 24-year-old reliever served as the 26th man for a doubleheader earlier this year but has not made an MLB appearance in 2016; he threw 4.2 innings with three strikeouts and two runs allowed in 2015. For Triple-A Iowa in 2016 he has recorded a 4.26 ERA and 35 strikeouts against 17 walks in 25.1 innings.
