Kiekhefer was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday.

As expected, Kiekhefer will come up to fill the roster spot vacated by lefty Tyler Lyons, who hit the DL with a stress reaction in his right knee. Kiekhefer has pitched 13 innings for the Cardinals on the season, posting a 4.85 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. He's fared better at the Triple-A level, where he holds a healthy 2.00 ERA across 27 innings.

Kiekhefer will be recalled from Triple-A Memphis to take Tyler Lyons' spot in the bullpen, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.

With Lyons moving to the disabled list with a stress reaction in his knee, Kiekhefer may get a chance to enjoy an extended stint in the majors. He's posted a 4.85 ERA and 1.15 WHIP across 13 innings pitched for the Cardinals, and a 2.00 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 27 innings at the Triple-A level this season.

De La Rosa (elbow) threw 40 pitches to rehabbing teammates A.J. Pollock and Chris Herrmann on Tuesday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old De La Rosa, who's been out since May 25, used his fastball, slider and changeup during the session. Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale said De La Rosa may throw batting practice one more time before heading out on a rehab assignment.

Chapman tossed a clean ninth inning with a strikeout for his second save Tuesday against Miami.

After blowing his first save as a Cub on Saturday, Chapman bounced back in fine fashion to record the save in his first opportunity since then. He has recorded at least one strikeout in each of his first five relief appearances for the Cubs as he remains arguably the toughest pitcher to hit in the league.

The Phillies promoted Rodriguez to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday, Mike Drago of the Reading Eagle reports.

A roster spot opened up with the promotion of Luis Garcia to Philadelphia. Rodriguez was 7-0 with a 2.57 ERA and a 41:16 K:BB in 49 innings for Double-A Reading and held lefties to a .197 average. He could get a look in the Phillies' pen in September.

Chafin made his first rehab appearance, pitching a scoreless inning with two strikeouts, MLB.com Associate Jake Rill reports.

Chafin has really struggled this season for the Diamondbacks after a stellar 2015 campaign in Arizona. Chafin can be a useful reliever for the Diamondbacks if he can come back and prove he's healthy. Chafin could return to the Diamondbacks bullpen as soon as next week.

Fields was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday.

As expected, the Dodgers have opted to send Fields to Oklahoma City. He's been a fantastic option from the bullpen at the Triple-A level this season, posting a dominant 1.65 ERA and 0.95 WHIP.

The Mets have recalled Edgin from Triple-A Las Vegas, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Edgin has been pitching really well at Triple-A, accumulating a 2.13 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 12.2 innings over his last 10 outings. He will head back to New York where he hasn't pitched since 2014. Edgin owns a 3.20 ERA in 81.2 career major league innings.

Adleman was activated from the 15-day disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Louisville, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

in 19.1 innings of work in Cincinnati, Adleman accumulated a 3.72 ERA with 16 strikeouts. He will head back to Triple-A where he owned a 3.16 ERA in 42.2 innings. The 28-year-old will most likely rejoin the big league club when rosters expand in September.

Gearrin threw a scoreless inning in a rehab outing on Monday for Triple-A Sacramento, Alex Pavlovic of of CSN Bay Area reports.

If his rehab continues to go well without any setbacks, Gearrin is expected to rejoin the Giants at some point later this week. Gearrin won't likely pitch in many high-leverage situations with the recent acquisition of left-hander Will Smith from the Brewers.
