Price began experimenting with fluid roles at the back end of the bullpen in 2016, using Iglesias for multiple innings 17 times and deploying Tony Cingrani before the ninth inning on several occasions. It seems the usage of Andrew Miller, Aroldis Chapman and Kenley Jansen in the postseason further convinced Price that deploying your best relievers in the highest-leverage situations (regardless of the inning) and occasionally for multiple frames is the way of the future. Thus it sounds like Iglesias, Cingrani and Michael Lorenzen could all factor into the ninth inning to begin 2017, depending on the matchups, making this a tricky situation for fantasy purposes.
