The Dodgers announced Thursday that Garcia underwent Tommy John surgery Oct. 25, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Garcia battled what was labeled a biceps injury throughout almost the entire 2016 season, but it seems the issue was with his UCL all along. He will miss all of 2017 but fortunately, Garcia still has youth on his side. The right-hander should easily find work once healthy, assuming he returns to something close to his old self.
