Rodney blew a save opportunity Sunday versus the Indians, allowing three runs on two hits and three walks while recording just two outs.

Rodney was rather wild Sunday, as just 13 of his 26 pitches found the strike zone, resulting in the veteran squandering a two-run lead. He was scored upon twice in his previous outing, and the five earned runs in just 1.2 innings of work have inflated his ERA by nearly a full run to 2.81. That said, Rodney has still blown just three saves in 28 chances this season.

De Leon won in his big league debut Sunday versus the Padres, allowing four runs while striking out nine without a walk across six strong innings.

De Leon allowed a two-run homer and later yielded another pair of runs, thanks in part to his own error in the fifth, but he was able to settle down and completed six frames with just 86 pitches. The rookie was a coveted prospect and profiles as a strikeout pitcher due to his impressive 11.6 K/9 rate this year in the minors, and Sunday's results supported both cases. His next start at this level has yet to be scheduled, but his encouraging debut should earn him another turn or two in the rotation during the regular season's final month.

Lopez lasted just four innings in Sunday's start versus the Mets, yielding three runs on six hits and a walk en route to his third loss of the season. He struck out three.

Lopez was recalled from the minors prior to Sunday's start, but that had little to do with the early hook he received, as he simply elevated his pitch count in a short span of time. He threw a solid 62 percent of his pitches for strikes, but he received just one run of support and was done in by a two-run homer by Curtis Granderson in the third. Lopez is not currently scheduled to make another start at the big league level, but he should remain with the club for the duration of the season now that rosters have expanded.

Adleman (2-3) gave up three runs on four hits and a walk over five innings while striking out six in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.

Home runs by Randal Grichuk and Kolten Wong accounted for all the damage off Adleman, but that was enough on a day when the Reds left 10 men on base. He's now allowed multiple home runs in three straight starts, so despite his solid 11:2 K:BB in 16 innings during those starts, he's a risky fantasy play. He's next scheduled to take the mound Saturday in Pittsburgh.

The Nationals recalled Lopez from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.

Lopez, following a brief return to the minors, will jump right back into the Nationals' rotation and start Sunday night against the Mets. His results have been up and down in five starts with the big club this season, as he has failed to get through the fifth inning three times but has also allowed just one earned run over seven innings on two other occasions. He is one of the Nationals' top prospects, but it remains to be seen if there will be room for him in the club's rotation beyond Thursday's outing.

Stewart is slated to start Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Stewart has made three starts for the Dodgers this season, and although he tossed five scoreless innings against the high-powered Cubs last Sunday, he was sent down to Double-A afterwards. Prior to that impressive showing, Stewart surrendered 15 earned runs in 12 innings over three appearances, so he is far from a proven commodity just yet. That being said, he'll still get the call Wednesday as the Dodgers attempt to preserve the arm of 20-year-old Julio Urias.

De Leon was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

De Leon had already had his contract purchased by the Dodgers and was announced as Sunday's starter earlier in the week. This move will make his recall official, and the Dodgers won't have to send anyone down in his place due to expanded rosters beginning Sep. 1.

Nelson allowed one run on four hits, struck out four and walked six over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against the Pirates on Saturday.

He yielded a run in the first, then shut the door the rest of the way. Nelson left with a one-run lead, but the Brewers' bullpen allowed the Pirates to tie the game in the seventh. With six free passes, Nelson was fortunate to get out of this outing with only one run allowed. Pittsburgh stranded eight baserunners and grounded into two double plays in the first six frames alone. His next start will be Friday versus the Cardinals.

Gsellman (2-1) allowed just one run on six hits, three walks and four strikeouts over six innings Saturday against the Nationals.

Gsellman is making the most of his spot-starting opportunities with the Mets. In just his second big league start, he repeatedly worked himself out of trouble and picked up a win against the first-place Nationals. The Mets are in the thick of the wild card race despite their once-vaunted rotation now being in disarray, so Gsellman figures to have earned himself a few more starts over the remainder of the month.

Weber will start Monday against the Nationals, the Atlanta Journal Constitution's David O'Brien reports.

His last appearance for the Braves was a 1.1 inning relief appearance on Aug. 28, and he has made just five starts all season (all of those coming at Triple-A), so he probably won't go deep enough to qualify for a win Monday. Weber has a 5.24 ERA and just 13 strikeouts in 22.1 innings of relief in the big leagues this year. Monday's start will essentially amount to a bullpen game. The plan is for Matt Wisler (side soreness) to return to the rotation next weekend, so this will likely be a spot start for Weber.
