Okert was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Friday.

Aaron Hill (forearm) was reinstated from the DL and Okert was optioned down in a corresponding move. Manager Bruce Bochy told Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle that he feels Okert needs to regain his confidence in a less stressful environment. Okert has given up nine runs on 12 hits and six walks in 13 innings so far this season.

Montero was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday.

Montero has been nothing short of terrible during his time in the majors, sporting an 8.24 ERA after Thursday's debacle. He'll head back to the minors to work out the kinks, although it's unlikely that he'll find his way back to the majors anytime soon with Seth Lugo (elbow), Steven Matz (elbow) and Tyler Pill all vying for rotation spots.

Sewald gave up a hit and a walk while striking out four over three scoreless innings of relief in Thursday's loss to the Padres.

He replaced an ineffective Rafael Montero in the fourth inning and gave the Mets a chance to mount a comeback, although they'd eventually fall short in a 4-3 loss. Sewald now has a 2.08 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 20:4 K:BB in his first 17.1 big-league frames, helping to solidify the middle innings for a battered pitching staff, but his role won't afford the 27-year-old much fantasy upside as he has no wins or saves and just one hold in 12 appearances.

Montero (0-4) allowed three runs on five hits and three walks over three innings in a loss to the Padres on Thursday. He struck out four.

It was a tough outing in a spot start for Montero, who now sits with an ugly 8.24 ERA and 2.54 WHIP on the season. While his FIP of 5.06 suggests that he has been the victim of some seriously bad luck, he's far from a reliable arm when it comes to fantasy, especially with a 7.78 BB/9. He's slated to rejoin the bullpen, but should continue to be an option for spot starts if needed.

Milner could be close to earning a promotion to the majors, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Milner has not allowed a run in 18.1 innings for Triple-A Lehigh Valley this season. He has struck out 15 and walked two. The lefty doesn't have overpowering stuff, but he has a sidearm delivery that makes it difficult for hitters to pick up the ball. The Phillies lack a dominant lefty in their pen, so Milner is likely to get a look in the near future.

Hand picked up his second save of the season despite allowing a run in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Mets.

After converting his first save Wednesday, manager Andy Green indicated that Hand wasn't taking over for Brandon Maurer as the team's closer. Despite the skipper's reluctance to make an official change, the dominant southpaw appears to be the pitcher to own for saves in San Diego until the results prove otherwise. The 27-year-old owns a 2.00 ERA and 11.7 K/9 over 27 innings this season.

Lamet (1-0) held the Mets to one run on three hits over five innings Thursday. He walked two and struck out eight en route to his first major-league win.

The electric rookie looked dominant on the mound in his debut, throwing 61 of his 91 pitches for strikes. The 24-year-old flashed his mid- to high-90s fastball, mixing in a slide piece and changeup to keep Mets' batters honest. Prior to his call-up, Lamet posted strong numbers with Triple-A El Paso in eight starts (3.23 ERA and 11.54 K/9). He was filling in for Jered Weaver (hip), but given the latter's struggles this season, the rookie could stick in the rotation if he continues to pitch the way he did Thursday. Lamet will undergo a tough test in his next start when he takes on the defending World Series champion Cubs next Tuesday.

Gomez (3-1) pitched a scoreless 11th inning with a walk and a strikeout during Thursday's win over Colorado.

Gomez last pitched May 4 and was then placed on the disabled list with an elbow injury May 9. After saving 37 games last season, he projects to pitch in high-leverage situations going forward, but he probably won't return to the closer role immediately. Gomez currently sports a 7.30 ERA and 1.70 WHIP through 12.1 innings.

Lamet had his contract purchased from Triple-A El Paso on Thursday.

As expected, the Padres will summon Lamet to take on the Mets on Thursday night. Weather-permitting, he'll face off with right-hander Rafael Montero in his major-league debut. To make room for him on the active roster, Carlos Asuaje was sent back to the minors.

Adleman's scheduled start for Thursday was rained out, so he will be pushed back to start Friday's contest in Philadelphia, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The Reds will take the easy route to adapt their rotation to accommodate the inclement weather, simply moving the weekend's rotation back to keep things in order. Adleman will now square off with Phillies' right-hander Aaron Nola on Friday.
