Gott was sent back to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.

Gott will head back to Syracuse after allowing five runs on five hits and two walks over 1.2 innings during Wednesday's 13-2 loss to the Braves. The 24-year-old should continue to ride the shuttle between the majors and minors whenever the Nationals need bullpen help.

Grace was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.

Grace will offer a fresh arm out of the Nationals' bullpen after Trevor Gott logged 1.2 innings in Wednesday's 13-2 loss to the Braves. The 28-year-old owns a 4.05 ERA and 1:2 K:BB through 6.2 innings with the big club this season, so he likely won't see any high-leverage innings.

Almonte has notched 36 strikeouts in 35.1 innings (seven starts) with an ERA of 1.78 for Double-A Hartford.

After pitching well at Rockies spring training, Almonte took his strong showings and transferred them to his Double-A starts. His ERA is down this year from the 3.00 it was at last season for Hartford, and he's holding batters to a .198 average. Almonte has shown that he'll be ready for Triple-A sometime soon, and his status on the 40-man roster makes him a candidate for the big-league roster sometime this year too.

Rodney notched his 18th save of the season in impressive fashion Wednesday, striking out the side in the ninth inning in a 2-1 win over the Tigers.

He sat down Justin Upton, Nick Castellanos and Andrew Romine on 16 pitches, getting the first two looking. Rodney seems to have found his best stuff recently, putting up an 8:1 K:BB through his last five appearances (five innings) without allowing a hit, much less a run, but his 5.11 ERA on the season is a reminder that his April was just as awful as his June has been great so far.

Suarez was promoted to Triple-A Sacramento.

Suarez will join the River Cats after compiling a 2.96 ERA and 1.30 WHIP through 11 starts with Double-A Richmond earlier in the year. We'll see how he responds to the tougher competition at Triple-A.

Jansen struck out one Indian in a perfect ninth inning Wednesday for his 13th save.

Now 27.2 innings into the 2017 campaign, Jansen still hasn't walked a single batter, but he's struck out 45 of 'em and converted all of his save chances. It's no surprise that he's again making his case to be considered the best relief arm in all of baseball.

Edwards (2-1) got stuck with the loss after giving up three runs on two hits and a walk to the Mets in the eighth inning Wednesday.

In a testament to how spectacular Edwards has been this year, he gave up as many earned runs Wednesday as he had in all 27 of his prior appearances put together. One rare bad outing won't hurt his status as one of the Cubs' top setup men behind Wade Davis.

Maurer pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout to get the save in Wednesday's 4-2 win over Cincinnati.

Maurer has now gone unscored upon in seven of his last eight outings. He is still prone to the big inning -- he's given up multiple runs in five appearances this season -- and his peripherals aren't very good, but Maurer is still 12-for-14 in save opportunities.

Montero was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.

On the heels of Tuesday night's pounding at the hands of the Cubs, Montero will return to the majors to provide a fresh arm for the Mets. The right-hander has been pretty terrible during his time in New York this season, however, so it's unlikely that he'll stick around for too long unless he suddenly clicks in the bullpen.

Santillan (shoulder) picked up the win in his return from the disabled list Friday, allowing three runs in 6.1 innings pitched while fanning seven and walking just one batter.

Santillan ultimately only had to miss one start due to this shoulder issue, and it also doesn't seem to have any lingering effects. He'll continue to develop in Low-A Dayton's rotation with the hopes of improving his control and maintaining his position in the organization as a legitimate rotation prospect.
