De La Rosa (shoulder) will pitch one inning in a rehab game Saturday with the Diamondbacks' rookie-level club, the Associated Press reports.

De La Rosa hit the 10-day disabled list shortly before the All-Star break with right shoulder inflammation, but it doesn't seem to be a serious concern. While it's possible De La Rosa will require another rehab outing or two beyond Saturday, it shouldn't be long before he rejoins the big club.

Pivetta (2-5) gave up nine runs on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts over five innings in a loss Friday to the Brewers.

Pivetta served up a pair of home runs that accounted for seven of the nine runs he allowed. He has now walked 31 batters in just 64 innings, a 4.4 BB/9. When you allow baserunners at such a prodigious rate, disastrous starts like these are practically inevitable.

Adleman (5-7) gave up five runs on seven hits -- including two Bryce Harper home runs -- and three walks while striking out four over 4.1 innings in Friday's 5-0 loss to the Nationals.

The right-hander has now been charged with at least three earned runs in five straight starts while failing to work past five innings in any of them, leaving him with a bloated 4.99 ERA. Adleman's job won't get any easier the next time he takes the mound Wednesday at home against the dangerous Diamondbacks.

Grace needed just one pitch to record his first career save in Friday's 5-0 win over the Reds.

After Matt Albers loaded the bases in the ninth inning, Grace came on and got Tucker Barnhart to ground out to second base to close out the game. The Nats' bullpen remains a mess, and until the team acquires a new closer Grace could end up seeing more high-leverage work despite a mediocre 3.86 ERA and 10:9 K:BB in 18.2 big-league innings this year.

Jansen pitched a scoreless inning while striking out one to earn the save Friday against the Marlins.

Jansen needed just 13 pitches to close out the Marlins and protect a two-run lead, giving him 22 saves on the year. He remains one of the absolute elite options at closer, as he owns a 0.93 ERA to go with a ridiculous 0.54 WHIP.

Yates was placed on paternity leave prior to Friday's game.

Yates will miss Friday's game, and could miss the entire rest of the weekend depending on when he is ready to return. The 30-year-old has pitched well for the Padres this season, and will slide right back into his regular role upon his return.

Vizcaino (finger) is set to toss a bullpen session Friday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

Vizcaino is nearing his return to the Braves and will be eligible to come off the DL on Saturday, although he may need a couple more days depending on the results of his bullpen and how his finger responds to throwing. The reliever has been one of the best pieces of Atlanta's roster this season, posting a 2.38 ERA with a 1.09 WHIP in 34 innings of work.

Hoover (shoulder) pitched Thursday with Low-A Kane County during his first rehab appearance.

Hoover is out on a rehab assignment while he continues to recover from right shoulder inflammation that placed him on the DL on June 23. The right-hander will likely need a couple more games down in the minor leagues after allowing one earned run off two hits during Thursday's outing. On a positive note, Hoover did strike out two opposing batters in his inning of work, and should be able to return to the Diamondbacks within the next few days barring any setbacks.

Floro will be sent down to Triple-A Iowa prior to Friday's game against the Orioles, The Chicago Tribune's Mark Gonzales reports.

Floro heads back to Iowa in order to make room for Jose Quintana on the 25-man roster. During his appearances with the big-league team this season, Floro has given up seven earned runs during 9.2 innings out of the bullpen. The 26-year-old has been up and down between Chicago and Iowa a few times already this season, and could return again in the near future to provide middle-relief depth for the Cubs.

Adams will be called up by the Nationals on Friday, Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports.

This will be the first journey up to the big leagues for Adams, who has been putting together another reliable season in the minors. During 36 innings of work with Triple-A Syracuse, Adams holds an ERA of 2.50 with a 1.61 WHIP and a 53:29 K:BB. Since the Nationals bullpen has been shaky all year, the right-hander could earn a lengthy stay with the team if he is able to produce at the major-league level.
