Adams will be called up by the Nationals on Friday, Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports.

This will be the first journey up to the big leagues for Adams, who has been putting together another reliable season in the minors. During 36 innings of work with Triple-A Syracuse, Adams holds an ERA of 2.50 with a 1.61 WHIP and a 53:29 K:BB. Since the Nationals bullpen has been shaky all year, the right-hander could earn a lengthy stay with the team if he is able to produce at the major-league level.

Gott will be recalled by Washington prior to Friday's game against the Reds, Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports.

Gott has been having a solid year with Triple-A Syracuse, and will provide depth out of the bullpen for the Nationals as the second half of the season begins. He's made two appearances at the big-league level in 2017, allowing five earned runs off six hits and a pair of walks over the course of two innings. With the bullpen being a clear weakness for Washington at this point, Gott could wind up earning some high-leverage appearances if he can find success on the mound this time around.

Webb will be joining the Brewers prior to Friday's game against Philadelphia.

Webb was traded to Milwaukee on Thursday after spending the last four years with the Yankees. During seven appearances on the mound this season, he has given up three earned runs off three hits and four walks, while striking out five in six innings of work. The left-hander will serve as an important piece of Milwaukee's bullpen moving forward, and could see some high-leverage work depending on how he fares in his first couple of outings with the club.

Milner has allowed one run on four hits over 3.1 innings since joining the Phillies in late June.

The 26-year-old allowed a run in his first appearance in the big leagues, but has been lights out since. The sidearm lefty will likely remain in low-leverage situations for the near future, but could see some opportunities later in the season with the Phillies already well out of contention.

The Brewers assigned Webb to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Thursday.

After he was acquired from the Yankees for first baseman Garrett Cooper, Webb will occupy a spot in the Sky Sox's bullpen until he's needed at the highest level.

The Yankees traded Webb to the Brewers on Thursday, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports.

It hasn't yet been revealed what's going to the Yankees in the swap, but Webb will give the Brewers bullpen depth. The 26-year-old left-hander has posted a 4.50 ERA in six innings this season, striking out five and walking four. Webb holds a career 3.40 ERA with an 11-7 record over 99 appearances in parts of four seasons at the Triple-A level.

Torres has given up 16 runs (14 earned) on 26 hits across his last 18.1 innings of work.

The veteran reliever allowed six home runs in that stretch, and continues to illustrate that his 2.73 ERA and 1.15 WHIP over 82.1 innings last season was an aberration. Torres has been used in high-leverage situations regularly this year, but his 4.37 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 37 strikeouts across 45.1 innings suggest he is better suited for a lesser role.

Pint, 19, has a 4.45 ERA and 47:36 K:BB through 56.2 innings at Low-A Asheville.

Pint is keeping the ball down and in the ballpark, but is issuing far too many walks, resulting in his fairly high ERA at this level. He has walked at least three batters in five of the last 10 starts. Pint still has huge upside but remains a work in progress, largely due to these command/control concerns.

Gsellman, out since his June 27 start with a strained left hamstring, is not yet ready to start a throwing program, Newsday reports. "He's again doing the rehab stuff and making sure his leg's OK," manager Terry Collins said. "But we can't do too much throwing-wise until we know his legs are going to be able to handle it."

Gsellman was injured running to first base during that June outing. He is likely at least a week away from beginning a throwing program; even if all goes well, it probably puts him almost a month away from rejoining the Mets.

Pivetta will start the Phillies' first game after the All-Star break, Matt Gelb of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Pivetta will face a tough test against the Brewers on Friday in Milwaukee. The young righty has an impressive 9.5 K/9, but he's also struggled with his control, as evidenced by a 4.3 BB/9 this season. He could provide plenty of value in the second half if he can make some strides in reducing the free passes.
