Vizcaino pitched a scoreless ninth inning to collect his 14th save of the season during Sunday's win over Miami.

The hard-throwing righty converted 14 of 16 saves for the campaign and posted a strong 2.83 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 10.0 K/9 through a career-high 57.1 innings. Vizcaino should open 2018 as the favorite to close out games for Atlanta, though plenty can change over the course of the offseason depending on the potential acquisition of additional bullpen help.

Fields struck out a batter over a clean inning to earn the save in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Rockies.

The Dodgers rested their key arms in preparation for the playoffs, affording Fields the opportunity to pick up his second save of the year. The 31-year-old turned in his finest season to date, posting a 2.84 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 57 appearances.

Iglesias allowed a solo home run Sunday but ultimately nailed down the win for his 28th save of the season.

The 27-year-old ended the year on a bit of a slide -- he allowed at least one run in each of his final four appearances (six runs total). However, the season on the whole was an unqualified success, with Iglesias posting a 2.49 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 92:27 K:BB while going 28-for-30 in save situations. The Reds likely will be a losing team again next year, but Iglesias established himself as an upper-tier closer this season and will likely be a hot commodity in fantasy drafts next spring.

Pivetta fanned seven and walked five while tossing five scoreless frames in a winning effort against the Mets on Sunday.

He cruised to an easy win, thanks to a robust 11 runs of support (including a six-run fourth) provided by the Phillies offense. The outing lowered Pivetta's ERA to 6.02 for the season, and he'll likely report to spring training in February with an opportunity to compete for a spot in the back of the rotation on the strength of his 140 strikeouts in 133 innings at the big-league level this season.

Sims (3-6) was handed the loss Saturday against the Marlins after lasting just two innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and four walks. He struck out one.

Sims simply didn't have it in this one, as it took him 60 pitches to get through his abbreviated outing. Most of the damage was done in the first inning, with the big blow being a three-run home run by Derek Dietrich. This start aside, Sims' first stint in the big leagues was promising enough despite the unsightly 5.62 ERA with which he finished. He's just 23 years old, and if he can piece together a few strong starts in spring training, he should be in the running for one of the back-end rotation spots for 2018.

Jansen struck out two batters over 1.1 innings and picked up his 41st save of the season in Saturday's 5-3 victory over the Rockies.

Saturday's performance brought Jansen's ERA down to a minuscule 1.32 for the year. Having blown just one of his 42 save opportunities, Jansen cemented his status as one of the game's elite closers. His extraordinary control proved to be one of his best assets, as Jansen now has an absurd 109:7 K:BB for the year.

Hand pitched a scoreless ninth inning without allowing a baserunner to collect his 21st save of the season in a win over the Giants on Saturday.

Hand has converted seven straight save opportunities and has allowed just a single run over his last 10 appearances. He sports a 2.16 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 11.8 K/9 for the campaign, and the 27-year-old lefty should be viewed as a rock-solid reliever in the majority of fantasy settings heading into the 2018 campaign.

Garcia gave up a hit and walked two in one-third of an inning Friday against the Braves. He struck out one.

It's noteworthy that the southpaw was given the chance to enter the contest in the ninth inning of a one-run contest, but he managed to load the bases prior to exiting with just one batter retired. Garcia has been up and down out of the Marlins' bullpen this season, but this usage could mean that he's in the mix for save opportunities heading into 2018. He'll need to improve his middling strikeout rate and show more consistency if he wants to have a shot at the closer's job, however.

Stephenson allowed two runs (one earned) on four his and two walks through five innings during Friday's loss to the Cubs. He didn't factor into the decision.

Stephenson entered the contest with a 2.87 ERA and 10.8 K/9 through his previous seven starts, so while he failed to strike out a batter and didn't take the win Friday, this was another solid showing. His strong finish was an encouraging development down the stretch for the Reds, and the 24-year-old righty projects to receive some positive fantasy ink leading into the 2018 season.

Bowman (3-6) took the loss in Thursday's 2-1 extra-inning defeat at the hands of the Cubs, allowing an earned run on two hits over an inning while also recording a strikeout.

With that, the Cardinals' wild-card hopes were officially dashed. It was the untimeliest of stumbles for Bowman, who had only given up one earned run in his nine previous appearances and had posted five straight scoreless efforts. Despite Thursday's unfavorable outcome, Bowman is finishing the season strong, as he has a 2.57 ERA and 8:2 K:BB across seven innings in September.
