Manager Mike Shildt said Reyes will make at least one more start for Triple-A Memphis within the next five-to-six days before potentially receiving a promotion to the big leagues, Mark Saxon of The Athletic reports.

Shildt previously indicated Reyes was in the discussion to enter the Cardinals' starting rotation during the upcoming weekend, but he'll instead stay at Memphis for now. The results from Reyes' start with Memphis on Sunday may have played a role, as the 24-year-old allowed seven runs -- including three homers -- over 4.2 innings. Additionally, Reyes has yet to receive clearance to swing a bat since fracturing his left pinkie finger in late April, which would provide complications when the Cardinals play in National League parks, per the Associated Press.

Arano (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

Arano has been out since April 20 with an elbow injury which eventually required arthroscopic surgery. He doesn't have a clear timetable, though Tuesday's transaction likely doesn't impact him very much, as he's just two weeks shy of having been out for 60 days. The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Adam Haseley, who was called up by the Phillies in a corresponding move.

Wilson (elbow) will throw a side session Wednesday, Matt Ehalt of Yahoo Sports reports.

Wilson has only made one appearance in the last seven weeks, sandwiched between a pair of trips to the injured list. The Mets will decide his next course of action following his side session, though a rehab assignment seems likely given the amount of time he's missed.

Strop (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Strop had been dealing with a strained left hamstring since early May. He recorded a poor 5.06 ERA in 10.2 innings prior to suffering the injury but should still be in line for a good number of save chances now that he's healthy, as he had four of the Cubs' six saves prior to hitting the injured list. Dillon Maples was sent to Triple-A Iowa in a corresponding move.

Guerra is no longer dealing with the effects of the oblique injury that had limited his activity at extended spring training in recent weeks, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Guerra has yet to make his 2019 debut in affiliated ball, but he was always likely to have a delayed start to the campaign after converting from shortstop to pitcher earlier this spring. The oblique injury pushed his timeline for debuting back a bit, but the Padres seemingly remain optimistic about the 23-year-old right-hander's potential as a pitcher. Per Sanders, Guerra's fastball sat around 96-to-99 miles per hour during his most recent simulated game. He could report to High-A Lake Elsinore or Low-A Fort Wayne at some point later this month.

Morejon hasn't pitched for Double-A Amarillo since May 22 while managing recurring soreness in his left shoulder, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Morejon was previously shut down for nearly a month earlier in the season with shoulder discomfort, so it's somewhat disconcerting that he's dealing with the same injury three outings after returning from the 7-day injured list. On a positive note, Amarillo has thus far resisted placing him on the IL, suggesting his latest setback isn't quite as significant. The 20-year-old has been able to play catch in recent days and could be cleared to rejoin the rotation later this week.

Bickford (undisclosed) made his season debut Monday in a game with High-A Carolina. He recorded one out while allowing two earned runs.

Bickford's start of the season was delayed due to some sort of injury, but he is now ready for game action again. Bickford was a first-rounder in 2015, but he was transitioned to a relief role last season and made 21 appearances out of the bullpen with Carolina. He will turn 24 in July, so he should have a chance to move up a level or two this season if he can prove effective.

Jansen allowed one hit in a scoreless inning to record his 18th save in a 3-1 win over the Diamondbacks on Monday.

Jansen quickly retired the first two hitters before giving up a double to Eduardo Escobar. He quickly rebounded, getting David Peralta to pop up to nail down his 18th save. The right-hander has been on a roll, as he extended his scoreless streak to eight games. Jansen has six saves with a 0.00 ERA and a 11:1 K:BB over those last eight appearances.

Jackson allowed one run on a homer during a non-save situation in the ninth inning against the Tigers on Sunday.

Owners didn't have much to gain from Jackson entering with a four-run lead in the ninth, and making matters worse, he allowed a run. That moved his ERA back up to 3.03. The run didn't really hurt his other numbers, but Jackson probably needs to improve slightly to remain in the Braves' closer role for the long haul. He is 8-for-12 in save chances with a 1.18 WHIP and 42 strikeouts in 29.2 innings this year.

Richards (3-5) earned the win by holding the Padres scoreless through five innings of work Sunday, allowing just one hit and two walks while striking out eight.

Richards retired the first four batters before walking Hunter Renfroe in the second inning. He kept San Diego's bats quiet until the third with a bunt single to Austin Allen, which turned out to be his only hit allowed of the night. The right-hander then worked through a 28-minute delay as an exterminator removed a swarm of bees from a microphone behind home plate. The interruption did little to disrupt his flow; Richards pitched one of his best games of the year to pick up his second straight win and first on the road while recording a career-high eight strikeouts. His changeup looked as effective as ever, with 30 of 37 thrown for strikes. The 31-year-old has scattered five runs over his last four starts and will carry a 3.53 ERA and 1.24 WHIP into his next start Saturday against Atlanta.
