Wilson (elbow) expects to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday, Mike Mazzeo of Yahoo Sports reports.

Wilson has spent the bulk of the last two months on the injured list, making just one appearance before re-injuring his elbow. He may need at least a few rehab outings before returning to New York.

Nelson won't start again until June 15 in San Francisco, Robert Murray of The Athletic reports.

The Brewers have two off days next week, so they can afford to shift their rotation around, though a 10-day gap between starts is quite large. The team clearly wants to be very cautious with Nelson, who returned for his first major-league start in nearly 21 months Wednesday against the Marlins. His five runs allowed in three innings in that performance likely didn't make the Brewers too excited to see him return to the mound, but it looks like he'll be given some time to work his way back into his previous form.

Smith tossed a perfect ninth inning in Friday's 2-1 win over the Dodgers, striking out two to earn his 14th save of the season.

Playing for the 26-36 Giants hasn't afforded an overwhelming number of opportunities to Smith in the closer role, but he's converted all of his chances so far. The 29-year-old owns a 2.28 ERA and 0.68 WHIP across 23.2 innings this season. He continues to be the Giants' best option for ninth-inning duties, although he's a prime candidate to be dealt to a contender before the trade deadline.

Pomeranz pitched five scoreless innings Friday, allowing three hits and a walk while striking out seven. He took a no-decision in a 2-1 win over the Dodgers.

Pomeranz was working on six days rest Friday, and bounced back after allowing 25 earned runs over his five previous appearances. The veteran lefty still has a 7.16 ERA and 1.75 WHIP through 44 innings this season. His record remains at 1-6 entering his next projected start -- June 16 versus the Brewers.

Neris allowed a hit and a walk but struck out two during the ninth inning to pick up the save in a 4-2 victory over the Reds on Friday.

The Reds were able to get the tying run on base, but Neris finished the night with a pair of strikeouts. Opponents who put two runners on board against Neris have been rare this year. He is 13-for-13 in save chances with a 1.95 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 40 strikeouts in 27.2 innings.

Suter (elbow) is slated to throw another bullpen session Saturday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Suter underwent Tommy John surgery in August of 2019, though he's already tossed three side sessions and is in line to throw his fourth over the weekend. He's expected to advance to throwing live batting practice as the All-Star break approaches.

Strop allowed a solo home run but struck out two in an inning of relief and still nailed down a save in a 3-1 victory over the Cardinals on Friday.

Working with a three-run lead, Strop had a big enough cushion to allow a solo shot and still record his sixth save. He retired the other three batters he faced, but the homer didn't help his ERA. Strop is 6-for-8 in save chances with a 4.97 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 13 strikeouts in 12.2 innings.

Rusin was designated for assignment by the Rockies on Friday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Rusin was activated off the injured list last week but won't stick on the 40-man roster after allowing four runs in his two appearances. The 32-year-old also struggled last season with a 6.09 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 47:26 K:BB over 54.2 innings. Rusin could end up at Triple-A Albuquerque if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Dominguez has a UCL injury in his right elbow and could be forced to undergo Tommy John surgery, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Dominguez will head to the injured list while he seeks out a second opinion on the injury after undergoing an MRI on Thursday. Even if the 24-year-old is able to avoid surgery he seems likely to face a significant absence.

Kinley was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans on Friday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Kinley made the Opening Day roster and had a 5.09 ERA, 1.87 WHIP and 27:15 K:BB over 23 innings before being sent to New Orleans in late May. The 28-year-old should return to a low-leverage role in the bullpen for the Marlins.
