Mayers (lat) was activated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

Mayers has been on the shelf since mid-April due to a right lat strain, but after completing his rehab stint at Triple-A Memphis, he's ready to return to the big-league bullpen. He's appeared in eight games this season for St. Louis, posting a 5.40 ERA with eight punchouts over 8.1 innings of work. Chasen Shreve was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Brebbia, who fired a scoreless two-thirds of an inning in an extra-inning win over the Pirates on Monday, has a 2-0 record, one hold, a 2.00 ERA and a 17:2 K:BB across nine innings in July (seven appearances).

Following a disastrous month of June during which Brebbia was touched up for 12 runs (10 earned) over 10.1 innings in 11 appearances, the right-hander has turned things around significantly. Brebbia has had only one stumble since the calendar flipped, yielding two earned runs over two-thirds of an inning to the Diamondbacks on July 14. Otherwise, he's only allowed Monday's hit and a walk across the other 8.2 frames he's worked during the month.

Gott (7-0) was the pitcher of record in Monday's 5-4 win over the Cubs. He gave up a run on two hits and struck out one over an inning of relief.

It's the second win in as many relief appearances for Gott, who has benefited from some timely run support from the Giants throughout the season. Though Gott has created some of his own good luck thanks to a 0.98 WHIP and 46:12 K:BB across his 42 innings, he'll largely remain off the radar outside of deep mixed leagues and NL-only formats while regularly working in middle relief for San Francisco. He could eventually capture a more prominent role if the Giants elect to deal multiple relievers ahead of the July 31 trade deadline.

Iglesias blew the save Monday against Milwaukee, allowing three runs on three hits and a walk while striking out two in two-thirds of an inning.

Iglesias was called into action with none out in the eighth inning, with a three-run lead and a runner on first. He promptly loaded the bases before allowing a one-out grand slam to Tyler Saladino, who owned a .321 OPS on the season heading into Monday's game. Iglesias was unable to finish the inning but was spared a loss when the Reds reclaimed the lead in the top of the ninth. The poor outing raised his season ERA to 4.60.

Lambert is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

Rather than reshuffle their rotation after the series opener in Washington was rained out, the Rockies will keep their pitching order intact, as Lambert will just be pushed back a day in the schedule. Lambert owns an ugly 6.06 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over his first seven big-league starts, but he's performed far better on the road than he has at Coors Field. Over 12 innings on the road, Lambert has allowed only four runs while holding opponents to a .285 wOBA.

Szapucki gave up four hits and two walks over five scoreless innings while striking out nine for High-A St. Lucie on Monday.

The nine strikeouts were a season high for the southpaw. Szapucki has looked sharp since a promotion to the Florida State League, posting a 2.03 ERA and 19:5 K:BB through 13.1 innings over four outings, but the Mets continue to keep a tight rein on his workload in his first season back from Tommy John surgery.

Ponce de Leon allowed one run on three hits with four walks and three strikeouts across three innings during a no-decision against the Pirates on Monday.

The 27-year-old only yielded one run, but because of control issues, Ponce de Leon only lasted three innings. In his last two starts against the Pirates, he's allowed five runs in 6.2 frames. Against everyone else this season, Ponce de Leon owns a 1.99 ERA. Overall, the 27-year-old is 1-0 with a 2.82 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 44 strikeouts in 38.1 innings during 2019. He is scheduled to pitch next against the Astros on Saturday.

Richards (3-12) gave up seven runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out seven through five innings to take the loss against the White Sox on Monday.

Richards was dominant at times while generating 14 swinging strikes, but he was hit early and often in his 12th loss. It's been a rough stretch for Richards, posting an 8.28 ERA in his last five outings. The 26-year-old has a 4.62 ERA with an 8.3 K/9 and a 4.1 BB/9 through 20 starts this season. Richards will make his next start Sunday against the Diamondbacks at Marlins Park.

Nelson (elbow) will make his next rehab appearance Wednesday for Triple-A San Antonio, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Nelson started his rehab stint Sunday with Low-A Wisconsin, surrendering a run over one inning of work. The fact that he's being moved up to Triple-A likely means he's on the brink of being activated, though Milwaukee has yet to issue a timetable for the right-hander's return.

Lambert won't make his scheduled start Monday, as the game has been postponed due to rain, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

The Rockies have yet to announce their pitching plans for the rest of the week, but there's a chance Lambert will simply have his outing pushed back to Tuesday. Monday's contest will be made up Wednesday as part of a doubleheader.
