Minter was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.

Minter has struggled to a 9.00 ERA, 2.50 WHIP and 4:7 K:BB in six innings since the All-Star break, so he'll head back to the minors for the time being to smooth out some kinks. Chris Martin (back), who was acquired from the Rangers earlier in the week, will take his place on the active roster.

Jackson will transition to a setup role following the acquisition of Shane Greene, 680 The Fan Atlanta reports.

This comes as no surprise, as Jackson has been shaky all season (17-for-24 in save chances with a 3.96 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in 50 innings) while Greene owns an impressive 1.18 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 43:12 in 38 innings on the year.

Callahan (shoulder) was activated off the injured list at Triple-A Sacramento earlier in July.

Callahan has allowed one run on four hits and has 11 strikeouts through his first five frames with the River Cats. The 24-year-old missed the first two months of the season due to injury before beginning a rehab assignment in mid-June.

Hader picked up the save Wednesday against the A's after tossing a scoreless ninth inning while allowing one hit.

With two outs, the A's got the tying run to the plate following a single by Jurickson Profar, but Hader managed to shut the door by eliciting a game-ending groundout from Marcus Semien. It was a nice bounce back from Tuesday, when the 25-year-old took the loss against Oakland after surrendering a walkoff home run. Through 40 appearances this season, Hader owns a 2.25 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 96:13 K:BB with 24 saves.

Kimbrel worked around two hits to pitch a scoreless ninth inning and record the save in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Cardinals. He struck out two.

After starting the ninth inning with a strikeout, Kimbrel got into some trouble by allowing a single and a double, which put the tying runs into scoring position. However, the closer wiggled out of trouble by inducing a groundout and then striking out Yairo Munoz to end the game. It's been a bumpy ride for Kimbrel in his first 11.2 innings with the Cubs, as he's sitting with a 6.17 ERA and two blown saves in 10 chances. But given his pedigree and what Chicago paid to acquire him, expect the veteran to have a long leash.

Diaz gave up a solo home run and struck out the side in the ninth inning to record his 24th save in a 4-2 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Diaz dialed up a strikeout for each of his outs in the ninth inning, but he did allow a solo home run. Despite allowing a baserunner in each of his last five appearances, Diaz had seven saves in July. Diaz has a 5.14 ERA with a 14.1 K/9 and a 3.2 BB/9 through 46 games this season.

Neris will drop his appeal and serve the three-game suspension handed down by MLB in mid-July, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Neris pitched the eighth inning of Wednesday's loss to the Giants despite trailing 5-1 to provide him some game action prior to serving the ban. The 30-year-old will be able to rejoin the Phillies for Sunday's series finale against the White Sox. Adam Morgan figures to be the top option for the ninth inning during his absence, though Juan Nicasio could also be called upon.

Wingenter was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.

Wingenter was optioned to Triple-A on July 21 and makes his way back to the big leagues after spending the 10-day minimum in the minors. The 25-year-old has a 4.26 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 53:18 K:BB over 38 innings this season.

Iglesias retired the Pirates in order during the ninth in a 4-1 victory to earn his 20th save of the season Wednesday afternoon.

The 29-year-old also recorded a strikeout, giving him eight straight outings with at least one punchout. Iglesias hit a rough patch in the middle of July, but he ended the month with three scoreless innings where he allowed only two hits and struck out four. Iglesias is 2-8 with 20 saves, 4.30 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 60 strikeouts in 46 innings this season.

Jackson allowed two runs on two hits without recording an out during the ninth inning in a 5-4 extra-inning victory against the Nationals on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old would sure like to face a different team. In his last three outings against the Nationals, Jackson has allowed seven runs in two innings. On Wednesday, he wasn't charged with a blown save. However, Jackson allowed two hits to the two batters he faced, and then both runners scored against the next relief pitcher, which tied the game. With a couple bullpen additions at the trade deadline, it will be interesting to see if the Braves keep Jackson in the closer role. He has 17 saves with seven blown opportunities, along with a 3.96 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 67 strikeouts in 50 innings this season.
