Lamet is scheduled to make his final start of the season Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Lamet would have been available to take the hill in Tuesday's series opener on five days' rest, but the Padres elected to expand the rotation to six men and give the right-hander an additional day of rest following his dazzling 14-strikeout outing Sept. 18 in Milwaukee. The right-hander has been spectacular since the beginning of August, turning in a 3.20 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 65 strikeouts over an eight-start stretch. His move back in the Padres' pitching schedule robs him of a two-start week, but Lamet still looks like a solid lineup option in most formats based on the form he's displayed lately.

Bolanos is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.

Bolanos was bumped to the bullpen last week following Garrett Richards' (elbow) return from the 60-day injured list, but there will be room for both pitchers to make starts in the final week of the season with the Padres expanding their rotation to six men. Over three appearances (two starts) with San Diego this season, Bolanos ha posted a 5.79 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 11:7 K:BB in 14 innings.

Rogers fired two scoreless innings while allowing two hits and striking out three to earn his fifth hold of the season in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Braves.

Rogers has been on a roll since joining the major-league club Aug. 27, posting a 1.23 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and a 5.5 K/BB through 14 appearances. The submarine reliever isn't blowing batters away with a low-80s fastball, but his deceptive delivery and frisbee slider have kept opposing hitters off balance. The trust Bruce Bochy showed in Rogers by letting him pitch two innings against a loaded Braves' lineup is telling. The 28-year-old rookie has quickly become a high-leverage reliever for the Giants, and he is making a strong case for a bullpen spot out of the gates next season.

Brigham pitched a perfect ninth inning Sunday while recording his first career major-league save.

Brigham has had an up-and-down year filled with recalls and options from the Marlins to Triple-A New Orleans and back. With the expanded rosters in September and the Marlins having nothing to play for, Brigham has been getting added opportunities out of the bullpen. He's given up just two runs in 9.1 innings in September and may be earning manager Don Mattingly's trust to put the right-hander into higher-leverage situations. The Marlins still have seven games remaining, so Brigham could get at least one more save opportunity before the season winds down.

Suero (6-9) threw just a third of an inning Sunday, allowing two runs on one hit and one walk while striking out a batter as he took the loss against the Marlins.

Suero took over in the seventh after Hunter Strickland ran into some trouble but wasn't able to clean up the mess. He allowed a two-RBI double to Jon Berti, which gave the Marlins the lead, and Berti was later able to score on an RBI triple by Starlin Castro. The Nationals entered the inning with the lead, and the bullpen completely fell apart with Suero being the odd man out and taking the loss. The right-hander now owns a 4.70 ERA to go with a 79:26 K:BB over 69.1 innings this season. Suero and the rest of the Nationals' bullpen will need to be on top of their game moving forward if they expect the team to make any noise in the playoffs.

Garcia (4-2) threw one inning while allowing no hits and walking one batter to earn the win over the Nationals.

Garcia has been a bright spot this season for this Marlins' bullpen as he has compiled a 2.83 ERA while only allowing 15 runs, five of which came in one outing, in 47.2 innings pitched. He owns a 37:14 K:BB and a 1.05 WHIP. While the season is almost over, numbers like those could find Garcia competing for Miami's closer role heading into 2020.

Voth allowed one run on three hits with three walks and three strikeouts across five innings during a no-decision against the Marlins on Sunday.

Voth allowed a triple to Magneuris Sierra to open up the bottom half of the first inning and later allowed him to score, but he settled down and blank the Marlins through the remainder of his start. He would've been in line for the win had Hunter Strickland and Wander Suero been able to hold Marlins off from making a comeback in the seventh inning. Voth has given up more than three runs in just one of his eight starts and now owns a 3.35 ERA with a 42:16 K:BB across 42.2 innings this season. The 27-year-old right-hander is expected to make his final start of the regular season Friday against the Indians.

Hader allowed one hit and struck out three across 1.1 innings to earn his 35th save in a 4-3 victory against the Pirates on Sunday.

While Hader blew his first save opportunity against the Pirates this season, he's recorded five saves versus Pittsburgh since then. The 25-year-old has also bounced back from his mid-August struggles to yield only two runs in his last 15.2 frames. He is 3-5 with 35 saves, 2.61 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 133 strikeouts in 72.1 innings this season.

Smith allowed one hit but struck out two during the ninth inning to post a save in a 4-1 victory against the Braves on Sunday.

Since returning from back tightness a week ago, Smith has posted 3.1 shutout innings with two saves and five strikeouts. Dating back to Aug. 24, he's converted five straight save chances and allowed three runs in 9.2 innings. Overall, he is 5-0 with 34 saves, 2.84 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 92 strikeouts in 63.1 innings this season.

Wilson allowed one walk and struck out two through a scoreless and hitless inning to record his fourth save in a 6-3 win over the Reds on Sunday.

Wilson made quick work of the Reds in the ninth inning despite a walk to nail down his fourth save. Wilson has received save opportunities as of late while Seth Lugo is being used in a setup role. The 32-year-old has a 4-2 record with a 2.61 ERA and 44 strikeouts through 44 appearances this season.
