Holmes was diagnosed with a fractured fibula following his removal from Friday's game against the Yankees, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Holmes suffered the injury after getting hit on the right leg by a 111-mph line drive off the bat of Spencer Jones in the fourth inning. Holmes remained in the game for a short while afterward before exiting midway through the fifth, finishing with four earned runs allowed on seven hits and two walks while logging eight strikeouts in 4.1 frames. The Mets haven't yet offered a timetable for the 33-year-old's return, but manager Carlos Mendoza said after the game that Holmes will be out for "a long time," so a move to the 60-day IL is possible.

Shugart allowed one hit and no walks in two scoreless innings of relief Friday against the Pirates. He struck out one.

Since being recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in the middle of April, Shugart has given the Phillies quality work out of the bullpen while operating mostly in middle relief. Through 15.2 innings for Philadelphia, the right-hander boasts a 1.72 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB.

Junk (2-4) took the loss against the Rays on Friday, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and three walks while striking out four across 5.2 innings.

It was a disastrous outing for Junk, who gave up two runs in three of the first four innings of Friday's game, starting with a two-run homer by Yandy Diaz in the first. The right-hander gave up a solo homer to Cedric Mullins in the sixth before being pulled, and Junk ended his day with season highs in hits, runs and homers allowed. He's allowed 11 earned runs over his last two starts and now sits at a 4.14 ERA and 1.24 WHIP across 50 innings this season. Junk is slated to take on Atlanta next week at home.

The Dodgers pulled Graterol (shoulder) from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City due to a back injury, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Graterol hasn't seen major-league action since the 2024 World Series while recovering from right shoulder surgery that he underwent in November of 2024. He was given the green light to embark on a rehab assignment in early May but is now dealing with a back issue, and the right-hander will undergo imaging on his back to determine the severity of the injury. The Dodgers should have an update on Graterol's recovery timeline once the team has the results of those tests.

The Rockies recalled Peralta from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.

Peralta will give the club a fresh bullpen arm after Chase Dollander's (elbow) injury-shortened start Thursday in Pittsburgh. The southpaw was up with the Rockies for a bit in April but didn't make an appearance. Peralta holds a 3.79 ERA and 14:5 K:BB over 19 innings with Albuquerque.

The Padres recalled Jacob from Triple-A El Paso on Friday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Jacob turned in two scoreless innings in an appearance for the Padres earlier this season and holds a 4.08 ERA and 18:10 K:BB over 17.2 frames with El Paso. He will likely be sent back down when Lucas Giolito joins the rotation later this weekend.

The Brewers optioned Fitzpatrick to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Fitzpatrick offered a mixed bag in his first-ever stint in the majors, allowing just two runs (one earned) but with a 4:3 K:BB and seven hits allowed over 5.2 frames. He's clearing off the roster to make room for Coleman Crow, who will start Friday's game in Minnesota.

Henry (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Rochester this weekend, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Henry is ready to pitch in games again after missing more than a month with a right rotator cuff strain. He will likely require at least a few rehab outings before rejoining the Nationals' bullpen, which could happen before the end of May if all goes well.

Foley (shoulder) earned a hold in Triple-A Sacramento's 6-5 loss to Round Rock on Wednesday, allowing one hit in a scoreless inning.

Foley underwent season-ending arthroscopic surgery last May and was placed on the 60-day injured list Feb. 13. The right-hander began his rehab assignment with Single-A San Jose before moving to Sacramento after just one appearance. He entered Wednesday's game in the sixth inning and allowed a double but escaped without giving up a run, throwing 11 of his 14 pitches for strikes. The 30-year-old will likely require an extended ramp-up period and remains without a definitive timeline to return to the majors.

Sanmartin (hip) struck out one in a scoreless inning during Wednesday's 29-2 victory over the ACL Dodgers in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

Sanmartin was placed on the 60-day injured list March 25 due to a severe right hip flexor strain, and he began his rehab assignment in Arizona on Wednesday. The 30-year-old southpaw got the starting nod and pitched one scoreless frame, tossing seven of his 10 pitches for strikes. The Giants claimed Sanmartin off waivers in November, and he had been competing for a bullpen spot before suffering the injury. However, he isn't guaranteed to join the big-league roster once healthy.
