Edwin Diaz RP | LAD
Mets' Edwin Diaz: Rough night Friday
Diaz (1-2) took the loss Friday as the Mets fell 1-0 to the Nationals, allowing one run on two hits and a walk without recording an out.
Entering a scoreless game in the bottom of the ninth inning, Diaz walked Juan Soto to lead off the frame, then served up singles to Ryan Zimmerman and Yan Gomes to hand the Nats a walkoff win. The right-hander had a 0.77 ERA over his prior 12 appearances heading into Friday but non-save situations can bring out the worst in a closer, and Diaz's job is in no jeopardy.

Daniel Bard RP | COL
Rockies' Daniel Bard: Blows fourth save
Bard allowed a run on a walk and two hits over one inning in Friday's win over Milwaukee. He struck out one and was charged with a blown save.
Bard entered the ninth inning with a 5-4 lead but coughed up an RBI double to Willy Adames to force extra innings. It was his first blown save since May 12 and he's now failed in four of his 13 chances this season. The veteran righty is sporting a 4.03 ERA and a 37:12 K:BB.

John Curtiss RP | ARI
Marlins' John Curtiss: Collects third win
Curtiss (3-1) allowed one hit in 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the win in Friday's 10-2 victory over the Cubs.
Curtis followed starter Cody Poteet, who lasted only 3.2 innings and failed to qualify for the win in his return from a knee injury. After a strong start to the year, Curtiss has allowed seven runs (five earned) in his last 11 innings. The right-hander has a 2.97 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 33:6 K:BB across 30.1 innings, mainly as a low-leverage reliever, although he's also taken two turns as an opener.

Tejay Antone RP | CIN
Reds' Tejay Antone: Scheduled for another bullpen
Antone (forearm) is expected to throw another bullpen Sunday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Antone felt good after his bullpen session Friday, but he'll have at least one more throwing session before he's cleared to return from the injured list. However, the right-hander is optimistic that he could be activated Monday or Tuesday.

Scott Alexander RP | SF
Dodgers' Scott Alexander: Begins rehab assignment
Alexander (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Low-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Alexander has been on the injured list since early May due to left shoulder inflammation, but he threw live batting practice last weekend and will now progress to a rehab assignment. The southpaw isn't eligible to return from the 60-day IL until July 5, but he appears on track to be ready by that date.

Dinelson Lamet RP | LAD
Padres' Dinelson Lamet: Starting Sunday
Lamet will start Sunday's game against the Reds, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.
Lamet was initially listed as the starter for Saturday's matchup, but he'll get an extra day of rest, while Yu Darvish will likely start against his former team Monday. The Padres haven't yet announced who will start Saturday's contest.

Drew Pomeranz RP | CHC
Padres' Drew Pomeranz: Tosses bullpen session
Pomeranz (lat) threw a bullpen session Thursday, MLB.com reports.
The left-hander's bullpen session represents a major step toward a return as it marks his first such session since he experienced a setback in his recovery in late May. Manager Jayce Tingler indicated that Pomeranz will throw at least one more bullpen session before facing live hitters, and it is uncertain whether he will need a rehab stint before returning to the big club. He remains unlikely to rejoin the big club until early July.

Austin Voth RP | MIN
Nationals' Austin Voth: Back from injured list
Voth (nose) was activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington reports.
The right-hander underwent surgery after suffering a broken nose on a hit by pitch June 6, and he'll rejoin the Nationals after spending little more than the 10-day minimum on the shelf. Voth has a 2.73 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB across 29.2 innings and should work out of the bullpen, though he could be in the mix for spot starts depending how long Max Scherzer (groin) and Stephen Strasburg (neck) are sidelined.
-
Sean Hjelle RP | SF
Giants' Sean Hjelle: Injured in Thursday's start
Hjelle (leg) was injured in Thursday's game versus Double-A Somerset.
Hjelle appeared to injure his leg on a pitch in the first inning. The 24-year-old has posted a 3.48 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 42:10 K:BB across 33.2 innings in eight starts this year. He's added a 3-1 record. It's unclear when he'll be able to return to action.

Wil Crowe RP | PIT
Pirates' Wil Crowe: Gets another start
Crowe is slated to start Saturday's game against Cleveland.
Crowe will be rewarded with a second straight turn through the rotation after he struck out a career-high eight over five innings while not factoring into the decision in a June 13 loss to the Brewers. With Mitch Keller back in the minors and Trevor Cahill (calf) recently returning to the injured list, Crowe could be in store for additional starts beyond Saturday's. The 26-year-old righty has struggled on the whole this season, posting a 6.75 ERA and 1.61 WHIP across nine outings (eight starts).
