JD Hammer RP | COL
Rockies' JD Hammer: Joining Colorado
Hammer signed a minor-league contract with the Rockies on Tuesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Hammer elected free agency after being outrighted by the Phillies earlier in November, and he's now latched on with the Rockies. The 27-year-old had a 4.95 ERA over 20 big-league innings and a 3.80 ERA in 23.2 frames at Triple-A last season.

Emilio Pagan RP | CIN
Padres' Emilio Pagan: Avoids arbitration with Friars
Pagan agreed to a one-year, $2.3 million deal with the Padres on Tuesday to avoid arbitration, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Pagan has struggled with the Padres over the past two seasons, but the team will give him another chance in 2022. The 30-year-old had a 4.83 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 69:18 K:BB over 63.1 innings with five blown saves and 19 holds. He could be in the high-leverage mix again next year with a strong showing in spring training.

Tyler Kinley RP | ATL
Rockies' Tyler Kinley: Avoids arbitration with Rockies
Kinley agreed to a one-year, $1.025 million deal with the Rockies on Tuesday, avoiding arbitration, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
The 30-year-old pitched in 70 games out of the bullpen for Colorado last season and posted a 4.73 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 68:26 K:BB over 70.1 innings. He had 10 holds and should enter spring training with a strong chance to be on the Opening Day roster.

Austin Adams RP | BOS
Padres' Austin Adams: Re-signed by Padres
Adams and the Padres agreed to a one-year, $925,000 contract Tuesday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
The relief pitcher will return for a third season with the Padres. In 2021, he appeared in 65 contests, compiling a 4.10 ERA and 1.20 WHIP while striking out 76 over 52.2 innings. Adams will once again be a late-inning option for the Padres after registering 10 holds last season.
-
Tim Hill RP | NYY
Padres' Tim Hill: Returning to Padres
Hill signed a one-year, $1.325 million contract with the Padres on Tuesday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
The 31-year-old will return to the Padres for a third consecutive season after pitching in 78 games with the squad in 2021. He tossed 59.2 innings while compiling a 3.62 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and striking out 56 batters. Hill's 17 holds were the second-highest on the team and he will remain a setup option for the Padres next season.

Jarlin Garcia RP | PIT
Giants' Jarlin Garcia: Re-signed by Giants
Garcia and the Giants agreed to a one-year. $1.725 million contract Tuesday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Garcia had a strong season in 2021, appearing in 58 contests while registering a 2.62 ERA and 0.96 WHIP, striking out 68 over 68.2 innings. His 11 holds ranked third on the team and left-hander will remain a late-inning option for the Giants again in 2022.

Daniel Bard RP | COL
Rockies' Daniel Bard: Remains with Rockies
Bard re-signed with the Rockies on a one-year, $4.4 million deal, avoiding arbitration, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Bard's major-league career began back in 2009, but he was still eligible for arbitration thanks to his long time away from the majors from 2014 to 2019. He saved 20 games for the Rockies last season but was removed from the closer role late in the year, finishing with a 5.21 ERA, a mark which isn't good even after adjusting for Coors Field. Depending on who the Rockies bring in over the winner, it's possible he works his way back into the ninth inning next season, but he'll be a lower-tier closer at best even if that happens.
-
John Brebbia RP | COL
Giants' John Brebbia: Avoids arbitration
Brebbia and the Giants avoided arbitration Tuesday by agreeing to terms on a one-year, $837,500 contract, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Brebbia struggled to a 5.89 ERA in 18.1 innings of relief for the Giants last season, but his underlying numbers paint a more optimistic picture of that small sample. His 25.3 percent strikeout rate was slightly above average, while his 4.6 percent walk rate was quite strong. Still, that doesn't add up to much more than a middle reliever if things break right for the veteran righty next season.
-
Seranthony Dominguez RP | CHW
Phillies' Seranthony Dominguez: No arbitration necessary
Dominguez and the Phillies agreed to a one-year, $725,000 deal Tuesday, avoiding arbitration, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Dominguez lost almost two full seasons to Tommy John surgery, returning to throw just a single inning late in the 2021 season. If he's back to being his former self heading into next season, he could be a weapon at the back of the Phillies' bullpen, as he owns a career 3.23 ERA and 30.2 percent strikeout rate in 83.2 innings at the highest level.

Daniel Hudson RP | LAD
Dodgers' Daniel Hudson: Joining Dodgers
Hudson agreed to a one-year, $7 million contract with the Dodgers on Monday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
Hudson split 2021 between San Diego and Washington and had a 3.31 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 75:16 K:BB across 51.2 innings with 17 holds. The closer's role is up for grabs with Kenley Jansen now a free agent, and Hudson should fill a high-leverage role for the Dodgers alongside Blake Treinen.
