Brewers' Rob Zastryzny: Poised for rehab assignment
Zastryzny (shoulder/ribs) will resume a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Zastryzny began the season on the injured list with a shoulder strain before being pulled off a rehab assignment when he suffered an intercostal strain. The lefty reliever has hardly pitched the last two months, so he'll likely need at least a few rehab outings before being considered for activation.

Clayton Beeter RP | WAS
Nationals' Clayton Beeter: Ready for rehab assignment
Beeter (forearm) is ready to begin a rehab assignment, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.
Beeter is at the Nationals' spring training complex in Florida, so it sounds like his first rehab appearance will be for the team's Florida Complex League affiliate. The reliever has been sidelined since late April with right forearm soreness, and he shouldn't require many rehab outings before being activated. Beeter has collected two saves this season as part of a closer-by-committee situation, and he should be thrown back into high-leverage situations upon activation.

Mets' A.J. Minter: Resuming rehab soon
Minter (hip/lat) is expected to resume a rehab assignment this weekend, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Minter has been out all season while recovering from lat surgery and had to be pulled off his initial rehab assignment when he developed left hip discomfort. He appears to have moved past the hip issue and should be ready to rejoin the Mets' bullpen later this month if things go well.

The 33-year-old southpaw hasn't allowed an earned run in any of his last 11 appearances and now owns a 1.02 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 11:10 K:BB across 17.2 innings in 20 outings this season.

McGowan (elbow) was activated from the 7-day injured list May 3.
McGowan has been cleared to return to game action after undergoing Tommy John surgery in March of 2025. He made several rehab appearances in April and has pitched in three games at Double-A Reading since being activated from the injured list, surrendering three runs (two earned) on four hits and one walk while striking out one over four innings.

Diamondbacks' Paul Sewald: Secures ninth save
Sewald picked up the save Monday against Texas. He allowed no hits or walks and hit a batter while striking out one over a scoreless inning.
Sewald entered with a one-run cushion in the ninth inning and plunked Corey Seager with two outs but was able to get Josh Jung to fly out and close the contest with no damage. The 35-year-old hurler has been stellar over his past five outings, allowing no hits and just one walk while striking out six batters during that stretch. Overall, Sewald owns a 3.07 ERA and 0.68 WHIP with an 18:4 K:BB and nine saves across 14.2 innings in 2026.

Foley kicked off his rehab appearance at Single-A San Jose on Sunday, surrendering four runs on two hits and one walk while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning. Despite his struggles, the club has elected to move his rehab to Triple-A. Foley is likely to notch at least a few more appearances before being activated later in the month.
