Matt Barnes RP | WAS
Red Sox's Matt Barnes: Reinstated from bereavement list
Barnes (personal) was activated from the bereavement list and will be available for Sunday's game against the Tigers.
Barnes should immediately slide back into a primary setup role after he had missed the Red Sox's last three games. With Craig Kimbrel enjoying sound job security as the team's closer, Barnes' utility remains mostly limited to AL-only formats and mixed leagues where holds are a category.

Dominic Leone RP | CHW
Blue Jays' Dominic Leone: Recalled from Triple-A
Leone was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
Leone will help give the Blue Jays some extra depth in the bullpen after J.P. Howell (shoulder) landed on the 10-day disabled list in a corresponding move. Howell had been assuming higher-leverage duty in relief, but Leone figures to be ticketed for mostly mop-up work until he gains the trust of manager John Gibbons.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: Not ready to pitch Sunday
Manager John Farrell said that Kelly (illness) wouldn't be an option out of the bullpen for Sunday's game against the Tigers, Brian MacPherson of the Providence Journal reports.
Kelly was back with the team Sunday morning and seems to have mostly recovered from the flu, but it looks like the Red Sox want to give him some additional time off to regain stamina. With another day off to recover, the right-hander could be available to pitch in the series finale Monday.

Brian Johnson RP | BOS
Red Sox's Brian Johnson: Responsive after beaning
Johnson was "responsive" after taking a line drive off his head during Saturday's game, Brendan McGair of the Pawtucket Times reports.
Triple-A Pawtucket manager Kevin Boles added that Johnson was able to answer questions and his removal from the game was for "precautionary reasons." It sounds like Johnson may have avoided more serious damage, but we'll wait on the results of medical tests to learn more about the left-hander's status going forward.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: Back with team Sunday
Kelly (illness) is with the Red Sox for Sunday's game against the Tigers, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Kelly experienced flu-like symptoms over the weekend and wasn't available for Saturday's game, but it looks like he's since made a full recovery. He could be called upon out of the bullpen if needed Sunday.

Kendall Graveman RP | ARI
Athletics' Kendall Graveman: Dominates Rangers in win Saturday
Graveman (1-0) allowed one run on two hits and one walk across seven innings in Saturday's win over the Rangers. He struck out five.
Graveman dominated the division rival with six innings of no-hit ball, only to lose his bid to a solo home run for Mike Napoli. He ultimately escaped the inning and saw his first win of the season come to fruition as the offense put three more runs on the board. Graveman underachieved in 186 innings last season, but is off to an excellent start to the new campaign and will look to build off of this outing in his next start versus the Astros.

Brian Johnson RP | BOS
Red Sox's Brian Johnson: Takes hit off head
Johnson left Triple-A Pawtucket's game Saturday after taking a line drive off the head, Mike Monaco of Pawtucket's official site reports. The left-hander was able to leave the field under his own power.
Johnson was having a pretty good night up until that point, having struck out seven over four innings of one-run ball.

Justin Wilson RP | BOS
Tigers' Justin Wilson: Records save Saturday
Wilson pitched a clean ninth inning with two strikeouts to pick up his first save of the season in Saturday's win over the Red Sox.
Regular closer Francisco Rodriguez threw 29 pitches and blew the save Friday, so Wilson was used in his place Saturday. He could snag a few more saves this season on days that Rodriguez needs rest.

Green seemingly trails Jordan Montgomery in the competition to be the Yankees No. 5 starter, MLB.com's Byran Hoch reports.
Montgomery pitches for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, while Green will start on the same day for Double-A Trenton. The Yankees are first expected to summon a fifth starter on April 16.
