Pressly (knee) is on track to return from the 10-day injured list Friday in Baltimore, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

He will have a rehab outing Tuesday with Double-A Corpus Christi, and the plan is for that to be his lone rehab appearance before getting activated this weekend. Pressly ranks in the top-15 among qualified relievers in ERA (2.03), WHIP (0.86) and K-BB% (27.7). Roberto Osuna went through a seven-game stretch from July 12 through July 24 where he gave up a run in five of seven appearances (6.75 ERA over that stretch), but he has since logged back-to-back scoreless appearances and has converted three straight save opportunities.

Leclerc has pitched his way back into the closer role and will keep the job even after Shawn Kelley returns from his biceps injury, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

Leclerc entered the year as the Rangers' closer but lost the job early on after some poor performances. He didn't record a single save between April 17 and Aug. 2. He now has two in the month of August, however, and owns a respectable 3.60 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over his last 12 appearances. He'll have to pitch well to hold off Kelley and others down the stretch.

Flores (oblique) was reinstated from Double-A Birmingham's 7-day injured list Saturday and assigned to High-A Winston-Salem.

Sidelined since late May with an oblique injury, Flores was cleared to begin a rehab assignment with the White Sox's rookie-level Arizona League affiliate July 11. After four outings with that affiliate, Flores moved up to Low-A Kannapolis for his most recent turn Aug. 1, tossing three innings and giving up three runs. He'll presumably slot into the Winston-Salem rotation this week now that the oblique issue is firmly in the rear-view mirror.

Treinen (6-4) took the loss against the Cubs on Monday, allowing four earned runs on four hits over two-thirds of an inning. He also recorded a strikeout.

Manager Bob Melvin appears to have made a prudent move in keeping Treinen and Liam Hendriks in their respective setup and closer roles even during a recent stretch where it was the former that looked to be more reliable. Treinen has now been touched up for runs in each of the last two outings after serving up a pair of home runs to Ian Happ and Javier Baez on Monday. The right-hander's 4.75 ERA and 1.58 WHIP both qualify as the second highest of his career and represent a stark departure from the 0.83 and 0.78 figures he generated last season.

Santiago's contract was selected as expected ahead of his scheduled start in the nightcap of Tuesday's twin bill against the Tigers.

After finishing four straight seasons with an ERA of 3.75 or below, Santiago owns a mediocre 4.84 mark over the last four years. He could be auditioning for a spot in the White Sox's rotation down the stretch, but nothing in his recent past (including his 5.84 ERA over seven starts this season for Triple-A Charlotte) suggests he'll be a particularly interesting option.

Alvarado (oblique) is slated to make rehab appearances for Triple-A Durham on Wednesday and Thursday, the Associated Press reports.

Alvarado breezed through his first rehab appearance with High-A Charlotte on Sunday, getting through a perfect frame in 11 pitches. The left-hander will now move up a couple of levels in competition, and if that pair of outings go well, he's likely to be activated when first eligible Friday.

Leclerc gave up a hit in a scoreless ninth inning Monday to record his seventh save of the season in a 1-0 win over Cleveland.

He only threw six of his 14 pitches for strikes, but after allowing a leadoff double to Jose Ramirez, the rest of the contact Leclerc gave up found its way into defenders' gloves. While the right-hander was able to get the job done Monday, Leclerc will need to be more dominant if he's going to keep the closer job after Shawn Kelley (biceps) gets healthy.

Chapman picked up the save after allowing one hit and striking out three in a scoreless ninth inning Monday night against Baltimore.

Chapman entered the ninth with a three-run lead, and although he surrendered a hit, he needed just 16 pitches to secure the win. The 31-year-old continues to dominate out of the closer's role this season, owning a 2.62 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with a 65:21 K:BB over 44.2 innings.

Yacabonis allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning Monday night against the Yankees. He was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk following the game, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Even after Monday night's scoreless frame, Yacabonis sits with a 6.98 ERA and 1.85 WHIP with a 33:23 K:BB over 40 innings this season. The Orioles have yet to announce a corresponding move.

Law struck out one through 1.1 scoreless and hitless innings to record his second save in a 2-0 win over the Rays on Monday.

Law recorded the last out of the eighth inning and quickly set down the Rays in the ninth inning to nail down his second save. Although his overall numbers are not impressive, Law hasn't allowed a run in his last eight appearances. The 28-year-old has a 5.36 ERA with 48 strikeouts through 37 games this season.
