Rogers recorded the save Saturday against the Royals despite allowing two runs on two hits with two strikeouts and zero walks during the ninth inning.

The 30-year-old thankfully entered with a 6-3 lead, as Adalberto Mondesi took him deep on a two-run shot to pull Kansas City within a single run. The left-hander was able to finish off the save, and it was the first time since May 13 he surrendered an earned run. Hansel Robles has picked up three saves over the past couple weeks, and he also gave up a run Saturday while notching a hold. Rogers and Robles appear to be splitting the closer's role, though neither likely has a firm grip.

Hendriks earned the save while striking out the side in the seventh inning in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

After recording the save in Game 1, Hendriks repeated the effort in Game 2 to earn two saves in one day. The 32-year-old struck out five of the six batters he faced between the two games. He has a 2.14 ERA and 0.86 WHIP in 21 innings.

Abreu was unavailable for Saturday's game against the Padres due to a leg injury, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old apparently suffered the injury while shagging flyballs during batting practice. It's unclear if the issue will affect Abreu's availability for Sunday's series finale.

Barnes gave up a run on two hits while striking out one in the ninth inning Saturday to record his 12th save of the season in a 3-1 win over the Marlins.

It's only the fourth time in 23 appearances Barnes has been tagged for a run. The Boston closer has a 2.63 ERA and stellar 41:5 K:BB through 24 innings this season while converting 12 of 13 save chances.

Swanson was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a strained right groin.

The 27-year-old recorded his first save of the season with 1.1 scoreless frames Friday against the Rangers, but he apparently injured his groin during the contest. Swanson will be eligible to be activated June 8, though it's unclear how long he's expected to be sidelined.

Vest (undisclosed) was activated from the COVID-19 injured list Saturday.

The 25-year-old landed on the COVID IL on May 21 after a potential positive test by a member of the pitching staff, and he'll rejoin the active roster Saturday. Vest has a 4.22 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 15:10 K:BB with five holds across 21.1 innings this season.

Feyereisen earned the save during Saturday's 5-3 win over the Rays by recording one strikeout and not allowing a baserunner during the ninth inning.

Diego Castillo tossed a scoreless eighth inning to line up for the victory, and Feyereisen closed the door in the ninth to nab his second save since being acquired by the Rays last week. Manager Kevin Cash will mix-and-match his options for saves -- four different relievers have recorded multiple saves this season -- and Feyereisen has quickly established himself as a trusted option for his new team. Castillo should be looked at as the primary closer, but Feyereisen is in the mix along with Pete Fairbanks, Jeffrey Springs and Andrew Kittredge.

Lakins was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk after Saturday's doubleheader against the White Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

The 26-year-old served as the 27th player for Saturday's twin bill and will return to Triple-A after delivering 1.1 scoreless frames in Game 1. Lakins has a 6.75 ERA in 17 appearances in the majors this season.

Hendriks earned the save in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles after pitching a scoreless seventh inning, fanning two.

Hendriks didn't have problems closing things out in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader, as he only needed 14 pitches (10 strikeouts) to get the job done. The right-hander has gone 6-for-6 in save chances this month, and he's yet to allow a run in 11 appearances during May.

Burdi was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte after Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

The 26-year-old was recalled to serve as the 27th man for Saturday's twin bill, and he'll return to Triple-A without appearing in either contest. Burdi allowed one run on three hits with three strikeouts and one walk over three innings during his lone big-league appearance this season.
