Barlow (2-2) allowed a run on three hits and a walk and struck out one in 1.1 innings, taking the loss Friday versus Oakland.

The right-hander got through the eighth inning without trouble, but he was only able to get one out in the ninth before Elvis Andrus hit a walkoff single. Barlow hadn't allowed a run in his previous 12 innings across 11 outings before Friday's misstep. He's posted a 1.95 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 46:14 K:BB, two saves and nine holds across 32.1 innings. He'll likely continue to see high-leverage work out of the bullpen as one of Kansas City's most effective relievers.

Cisnero (0-4) took the loss in relief Saturday against the White Sox after giving up an unearned run and a walk across one inning.

Cisnero entered the game in the 10th inning with a 4-4 tie and a runner on second base, but his performance wasn't good by any means. He walked Tim Anderson and while he retired Yermin Mercedes on a flyout, Yoan Moncada drove the inherited runner at second, Danny Mendick, home with a sac fly. This was Cisnero's fourth loss of the campaign. It's worth noting he has given up at least one run in four of his last six appearances, though three of those have been unearned.

Bummer picked up his second save, walking one and striking out two over a scoreless 10th inning in Friday's 5-4 win over Detroit.

White Sox closer Liam Hendriks allowed a game-tying, two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth, setting up the need for a save opportunity in the 10th for Bummer.

Hendriks (3-1) allowed two runs on two hits and struck out one over one inning, picking up the win in a 5-4 extra-inning win over Detroit.

Hendriks first attempted to close out the game amid a pouring rain, but the umpires halted the game after his first pitch. After a 49-miniute delay, Hendriks gave up a single to Miguel Cabrera then a game-tying, two-run home run to Daz Cameron. The runs put an end to the reliever's 14-game scoreless streak, and the blown save was his first since April 24. The White Sox went on to score a run in the 10th, giving Hendriks the win and setting up the save for Aaron Bummer.

Iglesias (4-2) blew the save in Friday's 6-5 victory against the Diamondbacks but got the win, allowing one run on one hit with two strikeouts in one inning.

Iglesias was selected to pitch the ninth of a one-run game but served up a game-tying two-out home run to Eduardo Escobar to blow the chance. The Angels were able to scratch across a run in the top of the 10th and win in that one extra frame, which awarded Iglesias his fourth victory of the season. Iglesias now has a 3.96 ERA, but his job appears safe as Los Angeles lacks viable options at the back end of the bullpen.

Pressly earned the save over the Twins on Friday, pitching a perfect inning and striking out two.

The right-hander was called upon in the bottom of the ninth inning after Houston took a two-run lead in the top of the frame. Pressly needed 20 pitches to retire the side in order, notching a pair of strikeouts in the process. He is now 10-for-11 in save chances this season and has posted a 2.08 ERA along with a 27:5 K:BB across 26 innings.

Hatch threw two shutout innings while striking out three Friday in a rehab start for Triple-A Buffalo, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

While Hatch was statistically effective in this outing, he needed 51 pitches to get through two frames, which put him at his pitch count and ended his night. He will likely need at least one more rehab start before he could be an option to join the big-league rotation.

Romano was not available Friday against the Red Sox due to right forearm tightness, Mitch Bannon of SI.com reports.

Toronto's bullpen is a bit of a mess right now, as several top options are injured and Tyler Chatwood melted down in Friday's game. Romano should be considered day-to-day for now, but given the nature of his injury, he could end up missing significant time. Rafael Dolis or Anthony Castro could be used in save situations until Romano is available.

Akin (0-1) yielded three runs on five hits and three walks over four innings Friday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Rays.

Akin gave up a run on an RBI groundout by Manuel Margot in the third inning but most of the damage came from Brandon Lowe's two-run blast in the fourth. It was Akin's third straight start finishing at least four innings, but his season ERA jumped to 4.13. He's projected to take the mound in Cleveland next week.

Fairbanks struck out one batter over a perfect ninth inning and picked up a save over the Orioles on Friday.

Fairbanks quickly rolled through the middle of Baltimore's order on just 10 pitches and lowered his season ERA to 1.20. He's made nine straight scoreless appearances and hasn't given up a run since May 19, when he notched his only other save of the season.
