Ramirez was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.

Ramirez was recalled just a few days earlier, but he'll head back to the minors after failing to make an appearance. Luis Torrens was promoted Monday in a corresponding move.

Fulmer (shoulder) was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday.

The right-hander hasn't pitched since May 30 due to a strained right shoulder, and he'll rejoin the active roster Monday after a brief trip to the injured list. Fulmer opened the season in the rotation but has pitched well out of the bullpen with a 1.35 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB across 13.1 innings since May 5. The 28-year-old is 4-for-5 in save chances and should reclaim primary closer's duties now that he's healthy, though Jose Cisnero and Gregory Soto also remain in the mix.

Fulmer (shoulder) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list Monday or Tuesday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Fulmer was placed on the injured list with a right shoulder strain June 6, but it appears as though he'll be able to return after a minimal absence. The right-hander could reclaim the closing duties as soon as he's reinstated from the IL. He converted on four of his five save chances prior to his injury.

Nelson was recalled from Triple-A Columbus on Monday.

Nelson was sent down Saturday, but he'll return to the major-league roster after Shane Bieber (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday. Nelson has posted a 7.50 ERA and 1.67 WHIP in six innings across six relief appearances with the major-league club this year.

Diekman recorded his sixth hold in a win over the Royals on Sunday, firing a perfect eighth inning during which he recorded a strikeout.

The left-hander was particularly sharp, firing six of nine pitches for strikes. Diekman has had some occasional stumbles this season, but he's in the midst of a relatively strong stretch of pitching that has seen him generate a 2.61 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, one save and two holds over the 10.1 innings covering his last 10 appearances.

Weber was designated for assignment by the Red Sox on Monday, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Weber made his 2021 debut in Sunday's loss to the Blue Jays but was hit hard as a long reliever. He allowed 11 runs on 13 hits and two walks while striking out seven in 5.2 innings. The right-hander will now be cast off the 40-man roster to make room for Michael Chavis, who was recalled in a corresponding move.

Weber worked 5.2 innings in relief and gave up 11 earned runs on 13 hits and two walks while striking out seven in Sunday's 18-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

When starter Martin Perez put the team in a 5-0 hole after the top of the second, the Red Sox were likely content to write Sunday's game off and have Weber eat some innings to save the rest of the bullpen. While Weber was able to mop up for Boston, that was about the only positive takeaway from his 2021 debut. After a clean third inning, Weber was lit up thereafter, putting 15 runners on base while serving up four home runs. Since Weber won't be available for at least a few games after tossing 95 pitches in Sunday's appearance, Boston will most likely option him to Triple-A Worcester or designate him for assignment prior to Monday's series finale.

Alexander (0-1) was tagged with the loss Sunday against the White Sox after giving up two runs on four hits while fanning three across 2.1 innings.

Alexander was tasked with recording the final out of the third inning and accomplished that goal, but he allowed runs in each of his two subsequent frames -- that was enough to drop a decision for the first time in 2021. The left-hander has now allowed runs in each of his last four appearances and has looked far from convincing on the mound, posting a 4.71 ERA in just 28.2 innings across 18 appearances (two starts).

Hendriks struck out one over a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Tigers.

Hendriks got back on the save train after blowing an opportunity Thursday, registering his 17th. Aside from Thursday's kerfuffle, in which he allowed two runs in an inning, Hendriks has not allowed an earned run in 20 of his last 21 appearances.

Trivino fired a perfect ninth inning while striking out two to secure the save in the win over the Royals on Sunday.

Trivino retired the side to record his 10th save of the season. This was a good showing for him, as he easily finished the game and received another save opportunity over teammate Jake Diekman, who pitched the eighth inning. Trivino surrendered five of his eight runs allowed this season in one appearance May 5, but he has not allowed any runs since then. The 29-year-old carries a 2.32 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP across 31 innings.
