Borucki (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday, Mike Wilner of the Toronto Star reports.

The move can be backdated by three days, leaving Borucki eligible to return April 14. Given that he was thought to be in contention for an Opening Day roster spot as recently as Sunday, it seems as though a minimum-length stay is in play.

Crochet (elbow) landed on the 10-day injured list Thursday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Crochet won't pitch again until sometime in 2023, as he underwent Tommy John surgery Tuesday. While he's merely on the 10-day injured list for now, he'll presumably shift to the 60-day whenever the White Sox need another spot on the 40-man roster.

General manager Mike Elias said Baumann will begin the season as a long reliever, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Elias left things open-ended as to where Baumann could pitch later in the season. Given that at least one spot in the Orioles' rotation is still somewhat up for grabs, the right-hander could get a look as a starter later in the year if he pitches well in relief. He could also snag a couple of wins early in the season as starters get stretched out.

Kelly (biceps) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday, retroactive to April 4.

Kelly landed a two-year contract with the White Sox in mid-March, but he'll be unavailable to begin the regular season due to a nerve issue related to the biceps strain he sustained while pitching for the Dodgers in the NLCS last year. It's not clear whether he'll be able to return after spending the minimum of 10 days on the IL, but he'll likely be in the mix for a setup role once healthy since Craig Kimbrel was recently traded to the Dodgers.

Texas placed Leclerc (elbow) on the 60-day injured list Thursday.

Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reported March 28 that the Rangers weren't expecting Leclerc to make his season debut until late May, but his move to the 60-day IL now implies that the reliever won't be ready to go until at least early June. Once he completes his rehab program for his March 2021 Tommy John surgery and is activated from the IL, Leclerc will vie for a key role in the Texas bullpen.

Bazardo was designated for assignment by Boston on Thursday, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.

The move clears a roster spot for the Red Sox to add Travis Shaw to the 40-man roster. Bazardo threw just three MLB innings last season and gave up 11 earned runs in 11.1 frames at the Triple-A level.

Robles' contract was selected by the Red Sox on Thursday, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.

Robles missed most of camp due to visa issues but will nonetheless win a spot on the Opening Day roster. He could see time in low-leverage spots to begin the year as he finishes his spring build-up, but his 3.60 ERA and 30.3 percent strikeout rate in 25 innings down the stretch for the Red Sox last season earned him four saves, and he could potentially add to that total this year once he's up to full speed.

Taylor (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Taylor dealt with a back issue late last season and is tending to a low-back strain to begin the 2022 campaign. He'll be eligible to return April 15, but it's not yet clear whether or not he'll be game ready by that point.

The White Sox recalled Foster from Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Foster was initially optioned to Triple-A on April 1, but the White Sox will bring him back from the minors less than a week later after reliever Ryan Burr (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday. While he's up with the big club, Foster will likely be limited to low-leverage work out of Chicago's bullpen.

The Twins optioned Jax to Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Jax was moved to the bullpen this spring and was competing for a middle-relief role, but he ultimately fell short in his bid for the Opening Day roster. The Twins could consider moving Jax back to a starting role as he heads to St. Paul.
