Winder (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Winder threw a bullpen session Tuesday and felt good afterward, and he's expected to toss two innings in St. Paul on Friday. The right-hander was initially expected to have a minimal stay on the 15-day IL, so it's possible that he rejoins the Twins late this weekend or early next week.

Barria (1-1) was tagged with the loss against Boston on Tuesday. He allowed an unearned run on two hits over one inning.

Barria entered in the 10th inning and gave up a one-out single that plated the designated runner. He allowed another hit in the frame, but that runner was wiped out on a double play. The right-hander was tagged with his first loss of the season when the Angels failed to score in the bottom of the inning. Barria has worked mostly in long relief this season -- this was his first outing of less than two innings. He has posted a 3.18 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 22:7 K:BB across 28.1 frames.

Marinaccio pitched two scoreless innings against Minnesota on Tuesday, allowing one hit and striking out three.

Marinaccio entered in the eighth inning with New York ahead by four runs. The right-hander kept the Twins from mounting any sort of a comeback, allowing just two baserunners on a single and hit-by-pitch. Marinaccio encountered some struggles near the end of April, but since returning to the majors May 21 he has pitched 5.1 scoreless frames while notching an 8:2 K:BB.

Speier (illness) will go out on a rehab assignment before he's activated from the COVID-19 injured list, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.

Speier, along with Matt Peacock and Amir Garrett, was part of the Royals' small virus outbreak in the bullpen. Since he'll need a rehab assignment, Speier is likely to be out for a little longer, though his presence in the clubhouse Tuesday indicates he has cleared the virus protocols and should be back in game action soon.

Tapia was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Tapia made two relief appearances for the Athletics after being called up in late May. He tossed a scoreless inning during his first outing but will be sent down after giving up four runs on six hits in one-third of an inning against the Red Sox on Saturday. Jared Koenig's contract was selected as part of a corresponding move, and he'll start Wednesday's game in Atlanta.

Pearson (illness) will pitch at Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Pearson's rehab assignment shifted to the Triple-A level Thursday, and he allowed a run while striking out two in two relief innings. He was moved to the 60-day injured list Monday but is eligible to rejoin the Blue Jays as soon as the team deems him fully healthy.

Alexander (elbow) will make rehab appearances at Triple-A Toledo on Friday and Saturday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Alexander struck out one in two perfect relief innings Tuesday, and his pair of rehab appearances as a reliever this weekend will likely be the final step in his recovery prior to rejoining the major-league club. The southpaw will serve as a multi-inning bridge reliever once he's reinstated from the injured list, and it seems likely that he'll be back with the Tigers early next week.

Cisnero (shoulder) will begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on Thursday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Cisnero has yet to pitch this season while nursing a right shoulder strain, but he's nearing a return to the big leagues. He'll likely make multiple appearances with Toledo before being activated off the 60-day injured list, leaving open the possibility he returns at some point next week. Cisnero will provide the Tigers with another veteran bullpen piece, having produced a 3.65 ERA and 1.33 WHIP with 62 strikeouts over 61.2 innings in 67 appearances in 2021.

Winder (shoulder) felt good during a bullpen session Tuesday, but there's not a clear timetable for his return, the Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. "I think the plan right now is to slowly build back and see where that goes," Winder said.

It's not clear if Winder will have another bullpen session or go out on a rehab assignment. Winder was originally expected to miss the minimum 15 days on the injured list, so it's slightly worrisome that he has no timetable at this point.

Luetge (2-2) earned the win Tuesday against the Twins. He allowed zero runs on one hit and zero walks over 1.2 innings.

After an early exit from starter Jameson Taillon, Luetge took over and pitched well, despite not accruing any strikeouts. He pitched well enough to earn the win -- his first since April 9 -- but his ERA still sits at 5.14.
