Garcia (back) will begin a rehab assignment Monday with Triple-A Buffalo.

Garcia landed on the injured list in late June with a sore back, but it did not take him long to recover. Given that he has only been out a couple weeks, he may not need to appear in more than a game or two before rejoining the major-league roster.

Astros general manager James Click said Sunday that Mushinski (elbow) could begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sugar Land during the upcoming week, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Mushinski has been on the 15-day injured list since June 7 with left elbow discomfort and will likely need at least two appearances in the minors before he's deemed ready to rejoin the big-league bullpen. Prior to being shelved with the injury, Mushinski covered 6.1 innings and gave up three earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out eight across his six relief appearances for Houston.

Feyereisen (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday.

Feyereisen was placed on the 15-day injured list in early June, and he'll be unavailable until at least the first week of August following Monday's transaction. The right-hander has been building arm strength recently, but the bone bruise in his shoulder hasn't yet fully healed. A better idea of his return timetable should come into focus once he resumes a throwing program.

Fleming was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Monday.

Fleming was sent to Durham in early May, and he worked mainly as a starter with the minor-league club. The southpaw posted a 2.36 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 45.2 innings over eight appearances (seven starts) at the Triple-A level. He should serve as a multi-inning option out of the Rays' bullpen and will be a candidate to serve as a bulk reliever behind opener Jalen Beeks during Monday's bullpen game against Boston.

Guerra was returned to Triple-A Durham on Monday.

Guerra served as a replacement player for the Rays during their five-game series in Toronto since several of the team's relievers were unavailable due to their vaccination statuses. He allowed a run on two hits and two walks while failing to strike out a batter in one inning during his lone relief appearance and will head back to the minors now that the Rays are returning to the United States.

Raley (personal) was reinstated from the restricted list Monday.

Raley was unavailable for the Rays' five-game series in Toronto due to being unvaccinated, but he'll rejoin the team for its upcoming series in Boston. Over his last nine appearances, the southpaw has earned a save and a hold while striking out 14 in 10 scoreless innings.

Mata (elbow) was activated from Triple-A Worcester's 7-day injured list June 28 and assigned to Double-A Portland, with whom he's covered 7.1 innings while allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out eight across two appearances since being reinstated.

Even though he was optioned to Worcester coming out of spring training, Mata has yet to debut for Boston's top affiliate while working his way back from the Tommy John surgery he underwent last April. After making four rehab appearances between Single-A Salem and High-A Greenville, Mata looks like he'll settle in Portland's rotation for the time being. He covered four innings in his most recent outing for the Double-A club and looks to be fully stretched out at this point.

Otto is scheduled to make his next start Wednesday in Baltimore against the Orioles, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Even though Otto has been shelled for 10 earned runs on 10 hits and six walks while covering only six innings in his first two outings since returning from the COVID-19-related injured list, he built up enough goodwill prior to testing positive for the virus to maintain some security in the Texas rotation. He'll take a 5.63 ERA and 1.53 WHIP over 10 starts this season into his upcoming outing at Camden Yards.

Martinez is slated to make his next start with the Athletics on Tuesday against the Blue Jays in Oakland.

The rookie right-hander receives a second turn through the Oakland rotation despite lasting 4.2 innings while serving up seven earned runs on seven hits and two walks in his second career big-league start Thursday in Seattle. The Athletics aren't flush with capable options to replace Martinez in the rotation, but Austin Pruitt -- who struck out six and allowed one earned run in 4.1 innings of long relief Sunday against the Mariners -- could be the next man up to get a look in a starting role if Martinez falters again this week.

Megill (shoulder) struck out one over a scoreless inning Saturday in his rehab appearance for Triple-A St. Paul.

Megill could be activated from the 15-day injured list at some point in the next week. He'll likely fill a middle-relief or setup role for Minnesota after turning in a 2.08 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB across 13 innings prior to landing on the IL.
