Chafin gave up one hit and no walks while striking out two over a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in a 3-2 victory over the Twins on Saturday.

The Tigers were forced to go to their bullpen in the fifth inning, and by the time they reached the ninth, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch decided to play his preferred matchups with Chafin on the mound. Chafin shut the door by throwing nine of his 13 pitches for strikes to earn his second save of the season. Gregory Soto appeared in the eighth inning and recorded a hold.

Voth (5-4) took the loss against the Yankees on Saturday, allowing four runs on seven hits while walking two over five innings. He struck out three.

Voth didn't do himself any favors on Saturday, hitting Aaron Judge with a pitch to lead off the first before giving up three runs in the inning, including a solo shot to Giancarlo Stanton. The right-hander served up another solo homer in the second and also hit Anthony Rizzo with a pitch. It was the first time this season that Voth allowed more than one home run in a game and only the second time that he allowed more than three earned runs. He's now lost three of his last four decisions.

Pressly allowed a run on a hit and two walks while striking out two over one inning to earn the save in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Rays.

Pressly allowed an RBI single to Yandy Diaz in the ninth inning, but he retired pinch hitter Harold Ramirez on a lineout to end the Rays' threat. Since returning from a neck injury Sept. 9, Pressly has given up three runs in 9.2 innings while converting all seven of his save chances in that span. He has 32 saves in 36 tries this year while maintaining a 3.04 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 63:13 K:BB across 47.1 innings.

The Twins plan to call up Woods Richardson from Triple-A St. Paul start Sunday's game against the Tigers, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Woods Richardson has had a dominant season in the upper levels of the minors for the Twins, combining to post a 2.73 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 116:37 K:BB across 108.2 innings with Double-A Wichita and St. Paul. He has thrown six innings in three consecutive starts with St. Paul, so he shouldn't have any limitations on his workload in his big-league debut.

Shaw was designated for assignment by the Guardians on Saturday.

Shaw made 60 appearances (two starts) for Cleveland in 2022 and converted his lone save chance while picking up seven holds. However, he served mainly as a middle reliever and posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 58.1 innings. It's not yet clear whether he'll remain in the organization if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Brash (4-4) got the win over the Athletics on Friday, firing a scoreless ninth inning during which he recorded two strikeouts.

Brash was exceedingly sharp while getting seven of his eight pitches in for strikes, and he was rewarded with his fourth win of the season when Cal Raleigh slugged a pinch hit home run that sent the Mariners home with a win and an AL wild-card berth. Except for one stumble against the Royals on Sept. 25, Brash has been nearly flawless since mid-August, turning in scoreless efforts in 18 of his 19 trips to the mound during that span.

Herget picked up a save against Texas on Friday, striking out two batters in a scoreless inning of work.

Herget tossed nine of 12 pitches for strikes in the outing and fanned a pair for his ninth save. The right-hander has recorded three saves in the past four days and four since Sept. 20. Ryan Tepera has registered two saves in that span, but Herget looks to have a solid grip on the closer position for the remainder of this season and possibly into next.

Lambert allowed zero runs on zero hits and one walk while striking out two over one inning in Friday's 3-1 win over San Diego.

Lambert surrendered a one-out walk to Jake Cronenworth, but he was able to strike out Brandon Drury and Josh Bell to record his first scoreless outing in his last four appearances. Although the 27-year-old righty got on the right track with a scoreless outing, walks are still an issue. Lambert has walked six batters over his last four appearances. Nonetheless, Lambert is putting together a solid season in his first extended run in the majors, and he looks much more comfortable in the bullpen rather than as a starter. Since being called up in early June, he has amassed 30 scoreless outings in 39 appearances and recorded 10 holds while lowering his season ERA to 3.33 over 46 innings, 39.1 of which have come as a reliever. Lambert has cemented himself as a reliable setup man, and he will look to gain some positive momentum as the season winds down.

Oller will serve as an opener during Saturday's game against the Mariners, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Oller was reinstated from the 15-day injured list Friday after missing nearly a month due to rib costochondritis. While he likely won't be built up to a full workload, he'll begin Saturday's game on the mound while JP Sears presumably serves as a bulk reliever.

Winckowski was recalled from Triple-A Worcester on Saturday.

Winckowski was sent to the minors in early September, and he posted a 3.77 ERA and 1.81 WHIP in 14.1 innings over three appearances following his demotion. He should serve as a multi-inning option out of Boston's bullpen over the final few games of the regular season.
