Yarbrough (oblique) agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with the Royals on Tuesday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.

The veteran left-hander was non-tendered by the Rays in November and will now continue his career with the Royals. Yarbrough often followed an opener for Tampa Bay and had a 4.02 ERA across his first three MLB campaigns, but the team opted to cut him loose after he struggled the past two seasons. He had a 4.50 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 61:22 K:BB across 80 innings during 2022 and should slot into the back end of Kansas City's rotation.

De Leon signed a minor-league contract with the Twins on Tuesday, which includes an invitation to spring training, the pitcher announced.

De Leon, 30, made 11 appearances in the minors in the Blue Jays organization in 2022, missing a large chunk of the year due to injury. The former top prospect has dealt with major health and control issues but has missed bats consistently when on the mound.

Jansen's two-year, $32 million contract with the Red Sox was formally announced by the team Tuesday.

The deal was first reported last week and Jansen was officially introduced at a press conference Tuesday. The longtime closer will slide into the ninth inning for Boston, with the hope that he'll provide more stability than the club had in 2022.

Feyereisen (shoulder) was designated for assignment by the Rays on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

It was announced last week that Feyereisen had surgery on his pitching shoulder and would be sidelined for a large chunk of the 2023 season. Nevertheless, the move comes as a bit of a surprise, as the 29-year-old didn't allow a single earned run in 22 appearances in 2022 and is under team control through 2026. There figures to be interest in him on waivers.

Rosenberg was designated for assignment by the Angels on Monday.

Rosenberg spent multiple brief stints in the majors during the first half of 2022, posting a 4.22 ERA and 1.41 WHIP through 10.2 innings. If he can recreate his Triple-A numbers from last season (3.16 ERA, 1.24 WHIP), there is a chance Rosenberg can find himself on the 40-man roster and in the majors next season at some point. For now, newly-signed Justin Garza will take his roster spot.

Garza signed a one-year, non-guaranteed split contract with the Angels on Monday.

Garza spent all of last season in Triple-A Columbus, posting a 4.64 ERA and 1.23 WHIP through 42.2 frames. If he's able to make the Angels' big-league club to start 2023, he will most likely serve as a low-leverage option out of the bullpen. Fellow pitcher Kenny Rosenberg was designated for assignment Monday in a corresponding move.

The Athletics acquired Tarnok alongside Kyle Muller, Manny Pina, Royber Salinas and Esteury Ruiz in a three-way deal Monday which sent Sean Murphy and Joel Payamps to Atlanta and William Contreras and Justin Yeager to Milwaukee, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Tarnok was one of the Braves' top prospects and will be one of Oakland's now. The right-handed pitcher posted a 3.68 ERA and 49:17 K:BB in 44 innings with Triple-A Gwinnett last season. He also made 15 appearances in Double-A and one game -- his big-league debut -- with Atlanta in August.

Alexy was designated for assignment by the Rangers on Friday.

Alexy appeared in only four games for the Rangers last season and had a 5.91 ERA across 96 innings for Triple-A Round Rock. He was designated for assignment to make room on the roster for Andrew Heaney, who joined Texas on a two-year, $25 million contract.

Feyereisen underwent surgery on his right shoulder Wednesday to clean up his rotator cuff and labrum, and he's expected to be sidelined from throwing for four months, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Feyereisen was sidelined the final four months of last season due to a pinched nerve in his shoulder, and he'll now miss the start of the 2023 campaign while rehabbing from the surgery. The right-hander delivered 24.1 scoreless frames prior to the injury in 2022 and figures to fill a high-leverage role once healthy, but he's unlikely to be built up enough to pitch in the majors until at least June.

Jansen and the Red Sox agreed Wednesday on a two-year, $32 million contract, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Even though the 35-year-old Jansen is on the downslope of his career, he remained a solid closer in 2022 with Atlanta, converting 41 of 48 save chances while posting a 3.38 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 85:22 K:BB in 64 innings. He'll now add some stability to the back end of the Boston bullpen, after the Red Sox had mostly taken a committee approach to the ninth inning last season. Jansen's contract and ample experience as a closer -- he'll enter 2023 with 391 career saves -- means he should have a decent amount of leash as Boston's ninth-inning man even if he endures some early struggles.
