Simeon Woods Richardson RP | TOR
Twins' Simeon Woods Richardson: Recalled from Triple-A
Woods Richardson was recalled Friday from Triple-A St. Paul, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Woods Richardson had struggled to a 9.00 ERA through two starts (seven innings) this season at the Triple-A level, but the Twins are in need of a fresh bullpen arm. The 22-year-old was a top-50 prospect a couple summers ago prior to being part of the Jose Berrios trade, but his stock has dropped since and he'll presumably work in long relief.

Jonathan Loaisiga RP | ARI
Yankees' Jonathan Loaisiga: Throws on flat ground
Loaisiga (elbow) did some flat-ground throwing at Yankee Stadium on Friday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
It's his first time playing catch since he landed on the injured list with right elbow inflammation two weeks ago. Loaisiga will continue to ramp things up, and as long as he avoids setbacks he's tracking toward an early May return.

Matt Foster RP | CHW
White Sox's Matt Foster: Undergoes Tommy John surgery
Foster underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow earlier this week, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
Foster has been out all season with what had been termed a forearm strain, but clearly there was more significant damage to his pitching arm. He'll likely be out until around midseason next year.

Enyel De Los Santos RP | HOU
Guardians' Enyel De Los Santos: Back from paternity leave
De Los Santos was reinstated from the paternity list Friday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
After spending three days away from the team, the 27-year-old reliever is now back with the Guardians. De Los Santos holds a 1.35 ERA and 1.20 WHIP on the year across 6.2 innings, though he's made only one appearance since April 9.

Chase Silseth RP | TEX
Angels' Chase Silseth: Leaves Triple-A game with blister
Silseth departed his Triple-A start due to a blister after tossing five innings Wednesday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
Silseth was great again for Salt Lake City in the outing, allowing four hits and a walk while striking out two batters over five scoreless frames. He's put together a 0.90 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 20:8 K:BB through four starts covering 20 innings in the minors this season, but it's uncertain if the blister will slow his momentum by causing him to miss time. If he's fine moving forward, Silseth would be among the top candidates for a callup should the Angels need a spot starter, an injury fill-in, or a replacement for the struggling Jose Suarez.

Emilio Pagan RP | CIN
Twins' Emilio Pagan: Lit up in Boston
Pagan allowed six runs on eight hits over 1.2 innings in Thursday's 11-5 loss to Boston. He struck out one and didn't issue any walks.
The veteran reliever entered the game to start the third inning after Kenta Maeda (ankle) exited after being struck by a comebacker. Pagan would ultimately allow seven hits in the inning, including a pair of doubles, as the Red Sox put six runs on the board. The 31-year-old Pagan had been pitching well coming into Thursday's contest, throwing 5.1 consecutive scoreless innings since he allowed a run in his season debut. Following the rough outing in Boston, his ERA balloons from 1.42 to 7.88. Pagan is 1-0 with a 1.75 WHIP and 6:2 K:BB through eight innings to start the season.

Liam Hendriks RP | CHC
White Sox's Liam Hendriks: Announces he's cancer free
Hendriks announced on his personal Instagram page Thursday that he is "cancer free."
Hendriks began his final round of chemotherapy for non-Hodgkins lymphoma earlier this month and his latest checkup showed the cancer to be in remission. There's no set timetable for his return to MLB competition, but Hendriks did participate in workouts at White Sox camp this spring and could feasibly begin ramping up again soon. Reynaldo Lopez is the current team leader in saves with three.

Zack Kelly RP | BOS
Red Sox's Zack Kelly: Targeting September return
Kelly (elbow) said Thursday that he will be sidelined for four months, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.
Kelly is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair the ulnar nerve in his right elbow, and he will reportedly be a "full go" once four months have passed following the procedure. If the Red Sox are in a position to make the postseason by then, Kelly could make a return to the bullpen. Otherwise, the team could decide to shelve him for the season and give him more time to recover.

Matt Brash RP | SEA
Mariners' Matt Brash: Takes second loss Wednesday
Brash (1-2) took the loss against the Brewers on Wednesday and allowed three earned runs on four hits over one inning. He struck out one.
The right-hander entered after Marco Gonzales allowed back-to-back singles to open the seventh inning, and he did himself no favors by quickly surrendering consecutive knocks to Brian Anderson and Luke Voit himself, the latter hit driving in one run. Brash would go on to surrender two more RBI singles, and the rocky outing snapped his three-appearance scoreless streak while also serving as his worst of the season in terms of earned runs allowed.
