Oakland transferred Jackson (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.

Jackson won't be eligible to rejoin the Athletics until after the All-Star break, as he was initially placed on the 15-day IL on May 19 with a flexor tendon strain in his right elbow. The move clears a 40-man roster spot for right-hander Angel Felipe, whom Oakland claimed off waivers from San Diego.

Oakland claimed Felipe off waivers from the Padres on Wednesday and sent him to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Felipe was designated for assignment by the Padres on Sunday to clear a spot on their 40-man roster, and he finds a new home a few days later. The right-hander has struggled in 2023 with a 6.20 ERA and 1.82 WHIP with Triple-A El Paso, but he did impress in 2022 with 14 saves with 84 strikeouts over 62 innings in the minors, and Oakland will hope he can find that form again in the second half of 2023.

Chicago optioned Padilla to Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

He'll head back to the minors with right-hander Touki Toussaint officially joining the 26-man active roster before Wednesday's game versus the Rangers. Padilla has made a pair of appearances for the White Sox in 2023 while registering a 4.91 ERA, 2.18 WHIP and 5:1 K:BB over 3.2 innings of work.

Blanco is scheduled to start Saturday's game against the Dodgers in Los Angeles, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

After a brief move to the bullpen, Blanco shifted back into the Houston rotation last weekend against the Reds when the Astros opted to build in an extra day of rest between starts for rookie Hunter Brown. Blanco had been expected to return to the bullpen this week, but the Astros' recent decision to demote Brandon Bielak to Triple-A Sugar Land now opens up a more permanent starting role. Given that he's turned in a 4.76 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 15:9 K:BB in 17 innings through his first three starts with Houston, Blanco hasn't yet established himself as a trustworthy streaming option.

De Los Santos (3-1) struck out one without giving up a hit or a walk in a scoreless inning to earn the extra-inning win over the Athletics on Tuesday.

De Los Santos pitched the 10th inning, and aside from a passed ball charged to catcher David Fry that moved the initial runner to third base, it was a sharp performance. Through eight appearances in June, De Los Santos has kept runs off the board five times, though a four-run meltdown versus the Red Sox on June 6 makes his numbers for the month look bad. He's been an effective middle reliever this year with a 3.10 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 27:13 K:BB and four holds over 29 innings.

Bautista picked up the save in Tuesday's 8-6 win over Tampa Bay, striking out two over 1.1 hitless innings.

Bautista has converted nine straight save opportunities, improving to 20-for-24 on the season, ranking tied for third in the league. He's allowed just one earned run in his last 20 innings, averaging 18.5 K/9 in that span. Overall, Bautista has a sparkling 1.04 ERA with a 0.95 WHIP and 69:17 K:BB across 34.2 innings this season.

Holmes struck out two over 1.2 perfect innings to pick up the save in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Mariners.

Holmes took the ball from Gerrit Cole after Cole got the first out in the eighth, and Holmes shut the Mariners down without issue. He picked up his fifth save this month, though Tuesday was his first appearance since June 13. Holmes has now pitched 8.2 scoreless frames dating back to May 31 and has struck out multiple hitters in five of eight appearances since then. The 30-year-old owns a 2.35 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 38:13 K:BB across 30.2 innings on the year.

May (1-4) took the extra-inning loss against the Guardians on Tuesday, allowing an unearned run on a hit and a walk without retiring a batter.

Entrusted with preserving a 2-2 tie when he entered in the 10th inning, May issued an intentional walk to Josh Naylor to open his appearance and ultimately surrendered a game-winning RBI single to Andres Gimenez. The veteran right-hander had gone into Tuesday with eight scoreless efforts in his previous nine outings, and despite the hiccup versus Cleveland, he's still generated a solid 3.18 ERA and three saves over the 11.1 innings he's logged across 12 appearances since being activated from the injured list May 23.

White was promoted to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.

White was called up to Texas last week and pitched two relief innings when the Rangers cobbled together a bullpen night after scheduled starter Jon Gray was scratched due to a blister. He was subsequently optioned back to Double-A Frisco and made one start before earning a promotion to Round Rock. White had a 3.51 ERA over 56.1 innings this season for the RoughRiders and has thrown 78 innings overall at the Double-A level. He's expected to make his debut for the Express this weekend.

Graveman picked up the save in Tuesday's 7-6 victory over the Rangers. He didn't record a strikeout in one perfect inning.

Graveman earned his first save since June 8, retiring three straight batters to record a clean ninth frame. Outside of a blown save on June 11 against Miami, Graveman hasn't allowed a single run over his last 20 appearances. He's expected to split closing duties with Joe Kelly while Liam Hendriks (elbow) sits on the 15-day injured list.
