Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is out of Monday's lineup against Atlanta with an ankle injury, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Stanton, who also missed Sunday's game, had X-rays come back negative. He shouldn't be out for long. He owns a .249/.365/.473 line with 19 home runs in 353 at-bats.

Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper will miss just two more games with hip inflammation, MLB.com reports.
There was some fear Harper, who has been out since Friday, would be shut down for the rest of the season. However, the doctor merely prescribed another couple days of rest, so he should be set to go by Wednesday's game against the Mets.
Harper is hitting .273/.377/.504 in 359 at-bats.

Justin Turner went 2 for 4 in the Mets' win over the Indians on Sunday, clubbing his second home run of the season. His solo homer was one of only two runs mustered by the Mets, and he struck out in his other two at-bats and was caught stealing.
Turner is now hitting .271 on the season.

Darin Ruf knocked in two runs in the Phillies' 3-2 win over the Braves on Sunday, including an eighth-inning home run that put his team up for good. Ruf's blast off David Carpenter was his 13th of the season.
The Phillies' outfielder/first baseman went 2 for 4 with one run and one strikeout. He is now batting .250 this season.

According to the Washington Post, the Nationals are concerned that Bryce Harper's hip injury may be more severe than initially thought. Harper was out of the starting lineup again Sunday, as he returned to Washington to have more tests done. The All-Star outfielder aggravated his injury prior to Saturday's game in Miami during batting practice.
Nationals manager Davey Johnson told the Post he wasn't sure if Harper would be able to return prior to the end of the regular season.

Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton was removed in the eighth inning of Saturday's 9-2 loss to the Nationals due to soreness in his right foot and ankle, MLB.com reports.
X-rays on the foot were negative, but Stanton may sit out Sunday's series finale to rest the foot. He has been dealing with discomfort in the foot all week since rolling the ankle Sunday, but the pain worsened Saturday.
"It was just one of those days," Stanton said. "Today, it hurt, I don’t know why, more than almost the first day that it happened."
Stanton went 0 for 3 in the game before exiting, giving him a .249/.365/.473 line with 19 home runs and 46 RBI in 353 at-bats.

Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to an aggravated hip, MASNsports.com reports. Harper will fly to Washington D.C. and have the hip evaluated before hopefully meeting the team in New York for a four-game series against the Mets that starts Monday.
