  • Justin Turner DH | CHC

Dodgers' Justin Turner: Posts two homers

Turner went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in a 9-3 victory against the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

With the pair of long balls, the 34-year-old is one shy of the 20-homer plateau, which is a milestone he's reached two of the last three years. After posting eight home runs with the Mets from 2011-13, Turner has 97 homers in the last five years with the Dodgers. He is batting .287 with 19 home runs, 53 RBI, 68 runs and two steals in 390 at-bats this season.

  • Bryce Harper DH | PHI

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Reaches base four times

Harper went 1-for-3 with three walks and two RBI in Sunday's loss to San Francisco.

Hitting out of the leadoff spot for the third straight game, Harper found success by practicing patience at the plate, taking three walks in addition to lacing a two-run single. Despite hitting only .250 this year, Harper has posted a .372 OBP thanks to 82 free passes, ranking sixth in the majors.

  • Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT

Cardinals' Marcell Ozuna: Productive day at plate

Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk in a win over the Pirates on Saturday.

Ozuna provided some rare pop for the Cardinals on Saturday, lacing his first double since back on June 26, prior to his extended stay on the injured list with finger fractures. The veteran slugger has mostly scuffled at the plate in the seven games since his return, but he does now have an extra-base hit in three straight games after having homered in each of the two contests prior to Saturday.

  • Jesse Winker DH | NYM

Reds' Jesse Winker: Sits against southpaw

Winker is not in Sunday's lineup against the Cubs.

He will take a seat against a lefty (Jon Lester) in the final game of this series. Phillip Ervin will start in left field and hit sixth.

  • Matt Carpenter DH | STL

    Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Sitting Sunday

Carpenter is not in Sunday's lineup against the Pirates.

He recently returned from a minor foot injury. Carpenter is hitting .235 with zero home runs in 10 games since the All-Star break. Yairo Munoz will start at third base and hit sixth.

  • Alex Dickerson DH | ATL

Giants' Alex Dickerson: Set for rehab assignment

Dickerson (oblique) is expected to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Dickerson won't return from the 10-day injured list when first eligible Sunday, but it appears he won't be sidelined too much beyond the minimum. The 29-year-old landed on the shelf with the right oblique strain Aug. 1, so he should only require a couple games in the minors to get back up to speed.

  • Joc Pederson DH | TEX

Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Out again against southpaw

Pederson isn't in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Pederson will head to the bench for a second straight day with another lefty slated to take the hill for Arizona. Cody Bellinger is set to man right field and will bat cleanup in Pederson's stead.

  • Bryce Harper DH | PHI

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Homers twice in win

Harper went 2-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI, a walk and another run scored in Friday's 9-6 win over the Giants.

With one out in the fifth, Harper swung at the first pitch he saw from Tyler Beede and launched a solo homer. He then put the Phillies back on top in the seventh with a 456-foot, three-run shot into the cove at Oracle Park. It was his first multi-homer game of the year, bringing his season slash line to .252/.371/.478 with 22 home runs, 78 RBI and 69 runs scored.

  • Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT

Cardinals' Marcell Ozuna: Slugs 22nd homer

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Pirates.

The 28-year-old slugger has gone yard in back-to-back games, giving Ozuna 22 homers on the year -- just one short of last year's total in 64 fewer contests. His .840 OPS is also the second-best mark of his career, behind only his massive 2017 campaign, when he posted a .924 OPS with 37 home runs.

  • Brandon Belt DH | TOR

Giants' Brandon Belt: Sitting vs. southpaw

Belt isn't in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies.

Belt is headed for the bench with a lefty in Drew Smyly set to take the hill for the opposition. Buster Posey will shift to first base with Belt out of the lineup.
