Beer isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.

Beer will get a breather after he went 0-for-10 with three walks and two strikeouts in his last four appearances. Matt Davidson will serve as the designated hitter and bat third.

Turner is not in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale versus the Diamondbacks, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

For the first time this season, Turner will not be in the starting lineup. The 37-year-old has struggled a little to open 2022, producing a .206/.257/.254 slash with no homers and three extra-base hits in 63 at-bats. Max Muncy will get the start at third base while Edwin Rios enters the lineup and will bat seventh as the designated hitter.

Blackmon went 2-for-4 with two solo homers in a 10-3 loss Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Blackmon homered in the sixth and eighth innings as the Rockies were trounced by the Phillies. The veteran has come alive in the last seven games, hitting .385/.429/.885 with four home runs. Tuesday marked the third time this season that he appeared as the designated hitter. The 35-year-old is sitting on a .300 batting average for his career and is five homers away from 200.

Harper went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and a stolen base in a 10-3 win Tuesday over the Rockies.

Harper singled and stole second base in the first inning and doubled and scored in the sixth. It was the ninth consecutive game he served as the designated hitter as he continues to deal with an elbow injury. The two-time National League Most Valuable Player has recorded an extra-base hit in four of his last five games and is hitting .325/.349/.575 over his last 10 contests.

McCutchen went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Pirates.

He wasn't a big part of the Brewers' 12-run offensive outburst, and he was caught stealing on one of his attempts. At least he was successful on the other, giving him three steals on the year. McCutchen is still looking for his first home run with the Brewers.

Harper (elbow) played catch Tuesday for the first time in a week and will exclusively play at designated hitter until at least May 3, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Harper hasn't played the outfield since April 16 due to the elbow injury, but he'll still be in the lineup every game as the designated hitter. There's been no dip in production due to the injury, as the 29-year-old has an .870 OPS with two home runs, three doubles, six RBI and six runs in eight games since being limited to to DH duties. Nick Castellanos will continue to man right field until Harper is cleared to play defense.

Harper went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 8-2 win over Colorado.

Making his eighth consecutive appearance as the Phillies' designated hitter, Harper launched a solo shot off Kyle Freeland in the fifth inning. He also scored a run in the third and knocked an RBI sacrifice fly in the seventh. The slugging lefty improved his slash line to .231/.297/.462 with nine extra-base hits and 13 RBI through 17 games.

Pederson went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Monday's 4-2 win over Milwaukee.

Pederson delivered his sixth home run of the season at an opportune time for the Giants, sending a two-run blast over the fence in right field to give his club a 2-1 advantage in the top of the eighth. The veteran outfielder has now swatted three homers in his last two contests and is 4-for-6 with five RBI, four runs scored and a walk over that brief stretch.

Harper is scheduled to test out his lingering right elbow injury during a pregame throwing session Tuesday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Harper has yet to miss a game this season on account of the injury, but he's served as the Phillies' designated hitter in each of the past seven games as a result of the elbow issue. Even if Harper checks out well during his throwing session Tuesday, manager Joe Girardi has already said that it's doubtful the 29-year-old will reclaim his usual duties in right field this week. Instead, Harper is expected to gradually increase his throwing distance over a period of several days before the Phillies feel comfortable using him on defense. Aside from uncharacteristically drawing zero walks over his last seven starts at DH, Harper has continued to perform well from a fantasy perspective with a .300 average, four extra-base hits (one home run and three doubles), four RBI and four runs over that stretch. Despite Harper's injury, fantasy managers shouldn't have much hesitation about keeping him active while he likely picks up six or seven starts at DH during the Phillies' seven-game week.

Belt went 2-for-5 with an RBI triple, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 12-3 win over the Nationals.

Belt showed off a little unexpected speed with his second-inning three-bagger to knock in the Giants' fourth run. He hasn't had more than three triples in any of the last five seasons. The first baseman snapped an 0-for-11 funk from his previous three games with this multi-hit performance, his first since April 16. Belt is slashing .236/.373/.509 with four home runs, nine RBI and nine runs scored in 67 plate appearances.
