David Fry C | CLE
Guardians' David Fry: Heading to bench Wednesday
Fry is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.
Fry will get a break Wednesday after he started at designated hitter and catcher in the first two games versus Detroit, going 3-for-9 with a run. Jhonkensy Noel will get the nod at DH while Bo Naylor checks back in behind the plate.

Jacob Stallings C | BAL
Rockies' Jacob Stallings: Filling in for resting Diaz
Stallings will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.
Stallings will pick up his third start in four games, but his playing time is set to take a hit now that top backstop Elias Diaz has shaken the calf injury that kept him out of the lineup Sunday and Monday. Diaz is back on the bench Wednesday, but his absence looks to be a byproduct of the Rockies playing a day game after a night game. Though his playing time has been mostly sporadic this season, Stallings has performed well at the dish when called upon; he'll take a .770 OPS into Wednesday's contest.

Matt Thaiss C | BOS
Angels' Matt Thaiss: Fills in for resting O'Hoppe
Thaiss will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Mariners.
Thaiss will step in behind the plate for the series finale while top backstop Logan O'Hoppe rests for the day game after catching all nine innings of Tuesday's 5-1 win. Expect Thaiss' opportunities to remain fairly limited moving forward while O'Hoppe continues to handle one of the heavier workloads among all catchers.

Shea Langeliers C | ATH
Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Day of rest Wednesday
Langeliers is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Astros.
Langeliers handled catching duties for each of the previous three games for the Athletics, so he will get a breather for Wednesday's afternoon tilt. Oakland will turn to Kyle McCann behind the plate for the series finale against Houston.

Miguel Amaya C | CHC
Cubs' Miguel Amaya: Resting Wednesday
Amaya is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.
Amaya will hit the bench after he had started at catcher in three of the past four games while going 5-for-8 with two walks and a run during that stretch. Tomas Nido will spell Amaya behind the dish Wednesday.

Garrett Stubbs C | PHI
Phillies' Garrett Stubbs: Losing work to Realmuto
Stubbs will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Twins.
Though he's included in the lineup for the series finale in Minnesota, Stubbs has moved back into the No. 2 role at catcher after JT Realmuto was reinstated from the injured list Saturday. Realmuto has been on the bench twice in the Phillies' five contests since his activation, but both of his absences came in day games after night games.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Hitting bench for series finale
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.
Garrett Stubbs will draw the start behind the plate while Realmuto receives a breather for the day game after catching all nine innings of Tuesday's 3-0 win. Since being activated from the injured list Saturday, Realmuto has gone 2-for-9 with three walks and a run over his three starts.
