Hedges isn't starting the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Twins.

Hedges started behind the plate during Saturday's matinee and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. Luke Maile is starting behind the dish and batting eighth during the nightcap.

Narvaez isn't starting Saturday against the Yankees.

Narvaez started the last two games and went 3-for-8 with a double, a run and a strikeout. Victor Caratini will take over behind the dish and bat eighth Saturday.

Trevino (knee) will sit Saturday against the Brewers.

Maldonado went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a strikeout Friday and will retreat to the bench for the third time in the last four games. Christian Vazquez will start behind the dish and bat eighth.

Haase isn't in the lineup Saturday against the White Sox.

Haase is getting a breather after he went 3-for-14 with a double, an RBI, a walk and seven strikeouts over the last four games. Tucker Barnhart will start behind the dish and bat eighth.

Kirk (hip) isn't starting Saturday against the Orioles.

Although Kirk is out of the lineup for a fourth consecutive matchup, he has resumed running and hasn't been ruled out for Sunday's series finale against Baltimore, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports. However, Vladimir Guerrero will rest his legs as the designated hitter Saturday.

Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Blue Jays.

Rutschman put the Orioles ahead 2-1 with his fourth-inning blast, but the lead was short-lived. It's been a slow week for Rutschman, who has gone 3-for-20 with a homer and a double over his last six games. The catcher is up to 11 homers, 34 RBI, 61 runs scored and three stolen bases while slashing .251/.358/.447 through his first 95 major-league contests.

Gomes isn't starting Saturday against Colorado.

Gomes is getting a day off after he went 2-for-11 with a double, three RBI, a run and a stolen base over the last three games. P.J. Higgins will start behind the plate and bat fifth.

Sanchez isn't starting the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Cleveland, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Sanchez started the last four games and went 3-for-16 with a double, two RBI and three strikeouts. Sandy Leon will start behind the dish and bat ninth during the first game of Saturday's twin bill.
