Bart left Tuesday's game versus the Diamondbacks with an illness, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Manager Gabe Kapler said Bart was "ghost white" and throwing up. It's unclear if the 25-year-old catcher will have to miss a game or two -- Wednesday's series finale against Arizona is an afternoon affiar. Bart likely would have sat out a day game after a night game anyway, so it's unclear if he will be available off the bench. He went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts Tuesday.

Diaz is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Diaz is in midst of a seven-game hit streak -- during which he's gone 13-for-27 with five doubles, a triple, a home run, eight RBI and three runs -- but he'll receive Tuesday off. Brian Serven will take over behind the plate for Colorado.

McCann (oblique) is expected to begin a rehab assignment Thursday, Deesha Thosar of FoxSports.com reports.

McCann has been sidelined since injuring his oblique a little over two weeks ago, but he is apparently ready to resume playing in games. It was reported earlier this month that McCann was not expected back before the trade deadline, but barring any setbacks he should have a chance to do just that.

Herrera was called up from Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday.

Herrera will make his return to the big leagues after joining the Cardinals for a 11-game stint earlier this summer. He'll replace Austin Romine on the active roster for the team's two-game series in Toronto. Herrera owns a .295 average with three homers, 21 RBI, 22 runs and two stolen bases over 139 at-bats over 37 games with Memphis this season. He'll look to improve upon the .111 average he produced over his first 11 career major-league contests.

Realmuto went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 6-4 win over Atlanta.

The catcher extended his current hit streak to seven games with the performance. Realmuto has enjoyed a strong July in general, slashing .327/.375/.571 through 14 contests with three of his eight homers and three of his 13 steals on the year.

Fortes went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 11-2 loss to the Reds.

Getting the start at DH and batting second, Fortes managed to make a fantasy contribution. The 25-year-old backstop started seven of the last 11 games -- four at catcher and three at designated hitter -- but hasn't done much with the opportunity, batting .222 (6-for-27) with one double, three runs and five RBI. Fortes now has four steals on the season, a surprising number considering he never stole more than five bases in any minor-league season.

Diaz went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 2-0 victory against Milwaukee.

There was little offense to be had in the contest, and Diaz's third-inning solo shot to left field provided all that Kyle Freeland and Colorado needed to pick up the victory. The backstop has swatted six homers this season, well off the pace of his career-high 18 long balls last year. Despite the lack of power, his .242 batting average is just four ticks below last season's mark.

Ruiz went 0-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base in Monday's 4-1 win over the Dodgers.

Ruiz was plunked in the eighth inning and stole second, but he wasn't able to come around to score. This was the 24-year-old's fifth steal in six attempts this year, and his first successful theft since June 29 -- he was caught stealing Sunday in a win over the Diamondbacks. The catcher is slashing .249/.313/.347 with three home runs, 22 RBI, 23 runs scored and 18 doubles through 305 plate appearances.

Casali (oblique) is scheduled to start a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Casali has been on the 10-day injured list since the beginning of July with a right oblique strain, but he's nearing a return to action. Considering he's spent nearly four walks on the shelf, he'll likely need a least a handful of at-bats in the minors if not more before being activated.

Delay isn't starting Monday against the Cubs.

Delay is out of the lineup for the second time in the last three games after he went 2-for-5 with a solo homer and three strikeouts over his last two matchups. Tyler Heineman is starting behind the plate and batting ninth.
