  • Giants' Patrick Bailey: Takes seat Tuesday

Bailey is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Cubs.

Bailey will grab a breather after making four straight starts behind the plate for the Giants. Blake Sabol is catching and batting fifth Tuesday versus the Cubs and right-hander Kyle Hendricks.

  • Marlins' Jacob Stallings: On bench Tuesday

Stallings is absent from the lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Nick Fortes will catch and bat ninth after Stallings drew three straight starts behind the plate to close out the Marlins' four-game weekend series versus the Nationals.

  • Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Not in lineup Tuesday

Stephenson is not in the lineup Tuesday versus Seattle.

Stephenson went 5-for-7 with a homer, two doubles and four RBI between Sunday's series finale against the Cubs and Monday's series opener against the Mariners, but he'll grab some rest Tuesday as Luke Maile takes a turn behind the plate for Cincinnati.

  • Yan Gomes C | CHC

Cubs' Yan Gomes: Two hits, RBI in Monday's win

Gomes went 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI in Monday's 5-0 win over the Giants.

Gomes returned to the lineup after getting a breather Sunday, and the veteran didn't skip a beat. He's been solid this year with a .269 batting average and .729 OPS, which are up significantly from the .235 average and .625 OPS he posted last season. Miguel Amaya should continue to spell Gomes some down the stretch, but with the Cubs fighting for a playoff spot, they'll probably use Gomes as much as possible given his production to this point.

  • Padres' Luis Campusano: Available Monday

Campusano is available off the bench Monday against the Phillies after getting hurt on a foul tip Sunday against the Giants, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Campusano got hit in the groin area and ended up going to the hospital to get an ultrasound Sunday, so it sounds like he was in quite a bit of pain. Gary Sanchez is starting behind the dish Monday.

  • Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Homer, steal in win

Realmuto went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-2 win over Milwaukee.

Realmuto went back-to-back with Alec Bohm off Wade Miley in the seventh inning Sunday, putting the Phillies ahead 3-2. The 32-year-old Realmuto has now homered in consecutive games while batting .333 (14-for-42) over his last 12 contests. Overall, Realmuto's slash line is up to .255/.318/.467 with 17 homers, 61 runs scored, 53 RBI and 13 stolen bases across 461 plate appearances this season.

  • Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Three hits, homer in loss

Stephenson went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer and an additional RBI in Sunday's loss against the Cubs.

Stephenson put the Reds ahead 4-3 in the second inning with a two-run blast off Jameson Taillon. It was Stephenson's 11th homer of the year, setting a new career high, and his third in his last 13 games. Overall, the 27-year-old catcher is slashing .252/.333/.382 with 51 runs scored and 47 RBI this season.

  • Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Not in Sunday's lineup

Moreno is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Moreno started the first two games versus Baltimore but will take a seat for Sunday's series finale. Jose Herrera will step in behind the plate and bat eighth.

  • Gary Sanchez C | MIL

Padres' Gary Sanchez: Out of Sunday's lineup

Sanchez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Sanchez is in the midst of a five-game hit streak during which he's gone 6-for-17 with a double and two homers, but he finds himself on the bench for the second time in San Diego's past three games. Luis Campusano has also hit well with an .856 OPS this season and will work behind the plate Sunday.

  • Austin Wynns C | ATH

Rockies' Austin Wynns: Gets nod behind plate

Wynns will start at catcher and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

With All-Star backstop Elias Diaz getting a breather for the day game after a night game, Wynns will pick up a turn behind the plate. Since the Midsummer Classic, Wynns has mustered a lowly .472 OPS in 13 games while seeing limited use behind Diaz.
