    Rushing left Monday's game against the Twins early after taking a foul ball off the face mask, Adrian Medina of ESPN Los Angeles reports.

    Chuckie Robinson has replaced Rushing behind the plate. Rushing exited the game in the bottom of the third after being hit by a foul ball. The Dodgers have yet to announce the specificity of the injury Rushing suffered Monday.

    Braves' Sandy Leon: Back with Atlanta

    Atlanta signed Leon to a minor-league deal on Monday, Lindsay Crosby of BravesToday.com reports.

    Leon will be back with Atlanta after being designated for assignment on Thursday. The 37-year-old has struggled to get it going from the plate this season, slashing just .091/.091/.091 with no homers or RBI in 44 plate appearances this season.

  • Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Receiving night off

    Moreno is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.

    Moreno will get a breather for the series opener in St. Louis after he went 1-for-3 with a walk while playing eight innings behind the dish in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Twins. Adrian Del Castillo will handle catching duties for Arizona on Monday.

    Marlins' Liam Hicks: Awaiting MRI results on back

    Hicks is awaiting MRI results on his injured lower back, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

    Hicks was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a lower-back strain, and the Marlins will have a better idea as to proceed with his rehab after the MRI results are in. Manager Clayton McCullough said Monday that Hicks feels improved but is "still stiff." The club could have more on Hicks' status later Monday.

  • Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Heading to bench Monday

    Realmuto is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

    The Phillies will hand Realmuto a breather in the series opener after he started behind the plate each of the previous three games. Rafael Marchan will handle catching duties for Philadelphia on Monday.

  • Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Goes yard in win

    Stephenson went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Yankees.

    Stephenson erased New York's early lead and then some with a three-run blast in the fourth inning. It was the sixth homer of the season for the catcher, who is having a sub-standard season at the plate overall but is showing life in June. Stephenson, who entered June with a .199 average and .625 OPS, is batting .250 with .707 OPS this month.

    Braves' Sandy Leon: Headed to Triple-A

    Atlanta outrighted Leon to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

    Leon cleared waivers after being designated for assignment Thursday, and he'll wind up sticking around in the organization as catching depth at Triple-A. Before being pushed off the 40-man roster, the 37-year-old slashed .091/.091/.182 in 44 plate appearances with Atlanta.

  • Brewers' William Contreras: Three hits, homer in win

    Contreras went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer and an additional run scored in Sunday's 9-4 win over Atlanta.

    Contreras broke the game open with his three-run shot off Bryce Elder, his seventh homer this year, extending the Brewers' lead to 8-1. Contreras has gone 20-for-53 (.377) over his last 14 games with three homers and nine RBI, boosting his slash line to .299/.358/.417 with 46 RBI and 43 runs scored across 310 plate appearances this year.
