McCann went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run, a walk and two additional runs in a loss to the Rangers on Tuesday.

The reserve backstop continues to parlay his occasional opportunities into standout offensive production, with Tuesday's impressive day pushing his average and OPS to .393 and 1.235, respectively, across 33 plate appearances. While the small-sample caveat certainly applies, it's difficult to dismiss how quickly McCann seems to have acclimated to big-league arms after displaying impressive bat skills at both the Double-A and Triple-A levels the last two seasons. Shea Langeliers remains the top backstop at the moment and certainly has the edge in terms of knowledge of the pitching staff, but given the expansive gulf in offensive performance between the two thus far, it's conceivable McCann could progressively carve out more consistent opportunities.

Perez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Brewers.

Perez will receive a rare breather during the afternoon game. Freddy Fermin will fill in at catcher while Perez gets some rest.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus the Tigers.

Naylor had started each of the previous six contests but will take a seat for Wednesday's afternoon game. Austin Hedges will serve as the Guardians' starting catcher.

Heim went 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's 15-8 win over Oakland.

Heim extended a hit streak to five games, during which he's 10-for-17 with four walks, four RBI and eight runs scored. The catcher ranks third on the team with 22 RBI and fifth in runs (16) over 31 contests. With a doubleheader coming up Wednesday, Heim will likely sit out the matinee.

Jeffers went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 10-6 loss to the Mariners.

Jeffers tagged Emerson Hancock for a three-run shot in the third inning to put the Twins ahead 4-2. The long ball was his second in as many games and extended his streak of games with an extra-base hit to six. During that stretch, Jeffers is 7-for-22 (.318) with eight RBI and four runs scored.

Raleigh went 1-for-1 with a grand slam and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 10-6 win over the Twins.

Raleigh hit for Seby Zavala in the seventh inning and came to the plate with the bases loaded and the Mariners down two. He delivered his first career grand slam to give Seattle the lead and score Mitch Garver, Luis Urias and Dylan Moore. Raleigh reached via walk in his other plate appearance and eventually came around to score on a sacrifice fly by Mitch Haniger. In 32 games, Raleigh has swatted nine home runs and owns a .769 OPS.

Rogers went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in Tuesday's 11-7 win over the Guardians.

Rogers was part of an offensive onslaught for Detroit, and he extended his hitting streak to six games in the process. The catcher is still batting just .194 for the season, though he was batting .125 before his current hitting streak. More concerning is the fact that Rogers only has two home runs through 23 games this year after clubbing 21 long balls in 107 contests last season. However, his recent hot streak provides some hope that the power will come.

Raliegh is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Raleigh started the previous four games and will receive a day off after going 2-for-15 with two homers during that stretch. Seby Zavala will take over behind the plate and bat ninth.

Wong is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

It's the second straight game on the bench for Wong, which is surprising given he's been one of the most productive catchers in baseball with a .950 OPS. Reese McGuire went 2-for-4 with a double and stolen base Sunday and is making his second consecutive start behind the plate Tuesday.

Langeliers is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

Langeliers went 3-for-5 with a triple, a home run and three RBI against Miami on Saturday but is otherwise 0-for-10 over his past four contests. Kyle McCann will step in behind the plate to catch for righty Ross Stripling on Tuesday.
