O'Hoppe is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics.

O'Hoppe is in the midst of a modest six-game hit streak and has gone 8-for-19 with two homers and three walks during that span, but he'll sit Wednesday after making five straight starts. Matt Thaiss will step in behind the plate to catch for righty Davis Daniel.

Rogers isn't in the Tigers' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Rogers went 0-for-3 with a strikeout during Tuesday's series opener and will now take a seat against David Festa on Wednesday. Carson Kelly will instead start behind the plate and bat fourth.

Jeffers isn't in the Twins' lineup for Wednesday's game versus Detroit.

Jeffers and Christian Vazquez continue to alternate starts behind the plate, with Wednesday marking Vazquez's turn to catch. Jeffers went 0-for-4 with an RBI during Tuesday's win, leaving him hitless in eight at-bats over his last two contests.

Lee is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.

Lee will hand over catching duties to Martin Maldonado for Wednesday's contest. Lee is just 3-for-23 (.130) over his last seven games but has scored three runs and clubbed a three-run homer during that stretch.

The Mariners selected Zavala's contract from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.

The Mariners will add Zavala to their active roster to provide some security behind the plate while Mitch Garver battles a wrist injury. The 30-year-old Zavala has slashed just .154/.214/.282 across 43 plate appearances in the majors this season and is unlikely to see much playing time during his stint with Seattle. Jhonathan Diaz was optioned to Tacoma in a corresponding move.

Wells is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Cincinnati.

Despite right-hander Graham Ashcraft pitching for the Reds, the lefty-hitting Wells will be held out of the Yankees' lineup. Instead, Jose Trevino will bat ninth and catch.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

After catching two straight games, Naylor will yield to Austin Hedges behind the dish Tuesday. In his last eight games, Naylor is 11-for-29 (.379) with a home run and five doubles.

Kirk will start at catcher and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Astros.

Kirk should be in store for at least two starts in the four-game series with the Astros while top backstop Danny Jansen likely misses the maximum three games after being placed on the paternity list Monday. Even though Jansen remains atop the depth chart, Kirk had been making a case for more playing time by going 4-for-12 with two doubles, two RBI and a run over his last three starts.

The Blue Jays recalled Serven from Triple-A Buffalo on Monday.

Serven will be the Blue Jays' No. 2 catcher behind Alejandro Kirk while Danny Jansen (personal) is on paternity leave. Serven was hitless in eight at-bats during a brief stint with the big club to begin the season.

The Blue Jays placed Jansen on the paternity list Monday.

Jansen will miss the next 1-to-3 games while welcoming a new baby. Alejandro Kirk should serve as the Blue Jays' primary catcher during that time, and Brian Serven has been recalled from Triple-A Buffalo to handle backup duties.
