Jansen is not in the lineup Monday against the Angels.

Jansen will take a seat for Monday's series opener after starting the past two games behind the dish and going 0-for-8 with a pair of strikeouts. In his place, Luke Maile is starting at catcher and hitting ninth.

Garver is not in the lineup Monday against the Red Sox, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Garver will head to the bench for a second straight game as Jason Castro picks up another start behind the dish in his place Monday. In 10 appearances since returning from the IL, Garver is 10-for-37 (.270) with two homers and nine RBI.

Maldonado went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 8-6 win over the Twins.

It was a rare offensive outburst for Maldonado as he has just one other three-hit game this season and hadn't scored multiple runs in one outing since August of last season. The 32-year-old catcher's OPS still sits at a lackluster .575 with just nine extra-base hits across 197 plate appearances.

Vazquez went 2-for-6 with two RBI in Sunday's victory over Baltimore.

Vazquez tacked on a pair of insurance runs in the top of the 10th inning on a single to center field. He's now hit safely in five straight games, and he's put together a .290/.330/.472 with eight homers and 25 RBI through 59 contests this season.

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Narvaez heads to the bench after compiling six hits while starting each of the past four games at catcher. Tom Murphy checks in for Narvaez behind the dish in the series finale and will work in a battery with Mike Leake.

Garver is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Jason Castro will get a turn behind the plate while Garver rests after starting at catcher in both of the first two games of the series. Since returning from the injured list June 2, Garver has picked up right where he left off prior to suffering a high-ankle sprain. In his first nine games back in action, Garver has gone 10-for-35 (.286 average) with two home runs, nine RBI and six runs.

Sanchez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox, Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports.

Sanchez will receive a routine breather after starting the past six games, with five of those assignments coming at catcher. He'll give way to Austin Romine behind the plate in the series finale.

McCann went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees.

McCann's eighth-inning blast was his fifth of the season and snapped a string of 27 straight games without one. It has been natural to wonder if/when McCann, who entered the season a career .240 hitter and is currently batting .320, would regress to his mean. That might be happening now. Since the calendar flipped to June, the 29-year-old backstop is hitting .231 (9-for-39).

Sanchez went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, three RBI, a double and two walks in Saturday's win over the White Sox.

Sanchez put the Yankees on the board in the fourth inning with a two-run double, and he also delivered an RBI groundout in the seventh. The 26-year-old was 0-for-6 in the first two games of the series but came through as a run producer Saturday.

Nola will have his contract selected from Triple-A Tacoma by the Mariners on Sunday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Nola signed a minor-league deal with the Mariners in November and will make his way to the majors after slashing .327/.415/.520 in 55 games. According to Corey Brock of The Athletic, the 29-year-old has been playing first base with the Rainiers over the last month, and he could seemingly see some time there with the Mariners after the departure of Edwin Encarnacion.
