Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Filling in for Diaz
Paredes will start at third base and bat seventh in Monday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
He'll stick in the lineup for the 11th time in 14 games while Yandy Diaz remains bothered by a sore left shoulder, an injury he aggravated in his return from an eight-game absence in Friday's win over the Astros. The Rays seem to be viewing Diaz as day-to-day as the team begins its final series of the regular season, so Paredes' hold on an everyday role could be tenuous.

Matt Reynolds 3B | CIN
Reds' Matt Reynolds: Shifts into utility role
Reynolds is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.
With Donovan Solano recently overcoming an eye infection, Reynolds appears to have moved into a utility role for Cincinnati. Reynolds is on the bench for the third time in four games.

Jonah Bride 3B | TEX
Athletics' Jonah Bride: Scores twice in big win
Bride went 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs in a win over the Mariners on Sunday.
Filling the DH role, Bride joined the Athletics' offensive explosion with his couple of trips on the basepaths. The rookie, who saw very sparse playing time throughout September, had been mired in an 0-for-17 slump that had encompassed his last 10 games prior to Sunday. Bride's season slash line sits at .206/.304/.250 across 185 plate appearances, but he has displayed some encouraging plate discipline in the form of a 10.3 percent walk rate and modest 17.3 percent strikeout rate.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Giants' Evan Longoria: Slated for X-rays on hand
Longoria will undergo X-rays after he was struck on the hand by a ball while fielding during Sunday's win over the Diamondbacks, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Longoria was struck on the hand on a ball that likely would have been a double play, and manager Gabe Kapler said after the game that the 36-year-old wouldn't have hit if his spot in the order came up again. Longoria should tentatively be considered day-to-day until the results of his X-rays are known.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Secures another 20-20 season
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases in a 7-5 win Sunday over Kansas City.
Ramirez singled, stole a base and scored in the second and added another stolen base following a hit in the seventh. The steals were his 19th and 20th of the season, giving him his fourth straight 20-20 season in years with 162 games. The 30-year-old has struggled a little bit of late and is 11-for-51 in his last 13 contests.

Emmanuel Rivera 3B | BAL
Diamondbacks' Emmanuel Rivera: Out with fractured wrist
Rivera was placed on the 60-day injuredlist Sunday with a fractured left wrist.
Rivera was scratched from Saturday's lineup with what was initially labeled forearm soreness, but he's now been diagnosed with a fractured wrist. It's unclear if the 26-year-old will require surgery, but he'll have four-plus months to recover before the start of spring training in February.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Not in Sunday's lineup
Hayes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Hayes is 6-for-21 with an RBI, a run and a stolen base over his past five games but will take a seat for Sunday's series finale. Rodolfo Castro will shift to the hot corner while Ji-hwan Bae starts at second base.
-
Ryan Kreidler 3B | MIN
Tigers' Ryan Kreidler: Starting Sunday
Kreidler is starting at shortstop and batting eighth in Sunday's game against the Twins.
Kreidler picks up a start with Javier Baez getting the day game off. The rookie is stuck in a reserve role and is slashing just .190/.243/.254 this season, so he doesn't figure to offer a ton of fantasy value Sunday. He'll likely have to settle for a similar role in 2023 with Baez locked up on a six-year deal that he signed last offseason.
-
Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Not starting Sunday
Devers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Toronto.
Devers has a .360/.467/.440 slash line over his past seven games and will take a seat for the series finale versus the Blue Jays. Bobby Dalbec will step in at the hot corner and bat eighth in the series finale.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Giants' J.D. Davis: Deep blast during loss
Davis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Davis cracked a homer with two outs in the sixth inning off righty starter Drey Jameson to cut the Giants' deficit to 3-2. The third baseman has hit three homers in his last five games, going 10-for-20 during that stretch. The 29-year-old has been outstanding during his last 15 games, posting a 1.151 OPS over 50 plate appearances.
