Rojas will start at third base and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Rojas will be included in the lineup for the fifth time in six games, despite going just 1-for-10 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored over his prior four starts. He could see his playing time dry up in the near future, however, as Kyle Isbel (foot) returned from the injured list Sunday, and Bobby Witt (back) appears on track to be activated Tuesday.

Baty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Baty will hit the bench Sunday after he made starts at three different infield positions in the previous three games. The 26-year-old doesn't have a clear path to steady playing time at any one position, but his ability to play all over the infield as well as both corner outfield spots should allow him to continue seeing semi-regular at-bats versus right-handed pitching.

Mayo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

He'll take a seat against right-hander Zack Wheeler, ending a streak of five straight starts at either third base or DH. The Orioles faced three right-handers and two lefties during that stretch, as Mayo went 4-for-16 with one home run, two walks, five RBI and four runs, but also six strikeouts. Christian Encarnacion-Strand will receive the nod at third base Sunday, but Mayo still looks like he could be in store for fairly steady playing time so long as he's performing adequately at the plate.

Karros went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored Saturday against the Royals.

Karros began a four-run rally for Colorado in the third inning with a bases-loaded double. He's begun the Rockies' current homestand hitting well, going 4-for-8 with two RBI and three runs scored across two games. He's maintained a .300 batting average with four homers, 14 RBI and 16 runs scored across 23 games since the start of July.

White went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Tigers.

White had gone 0-for-13 with five strikeouts over his previous three games. This was his fifth multi-hit effort so far, including three games of at least three hits, since he made his big-league debut July 17. Overall, he's batting .304 with a .667 OPS, but he has no home runs, two doubles, no RBI and seven runs scored across his first 14 contests in the majors.

Arenado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Saturday's 12-8 win over the Guardians.

Arenado walked and scored in the seventh inning before adding a solo shot in the eighth. The veteran third baseman entered Saturday having gone hitless in six of his previous seven contests, though he's still posted an .846 OPS with three home runs and 11 RBI in 15 games since the All-Star break. On the season, he's slashing .244/.323/.425 with 15 homers, 51 RBI, 51 runs scored and three steals across 406 plate appearances.

Vivas was scratched from the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

With left-hander Martin Perez now set to toe the slab for Atlanta instead of Reynaldo Lopez (knee), the Nationals will exchange the lefty-hitting Vivas for the right-handed bat of Brady House.

Chapman (abdomen) will not be activated during San Francisco's weekend series against the Padres, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The Giants were optimistic that Chapman would return sometime this weekend, but the 33-year-old said Saturday that he is still feeling discomfort while running. He's set to be reevaluated Saturday, so an updated timeline for his return could be available in the near future. In the meantime, Christian Koss will continue to serve as San Francisco's primary third baseman.

The Marlins optioned Pauley to Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Pauley appeared in four games after being recalled July 19, during which he went 3-for-9 with an RBI and two strikeouts. He'll now return to the minor leagues in order to make room on the active roster for Owen Caissie (calf), who returned from the injured list Saturday. With a .529 OPS through 106 MLB plate appearances this year, Pauley is unlikely to be a significant contributor for the Marlins if he makes it back to the big leagues.

Jimenez (illness) will start at third base and bat fifth Saturday against the Mets.

Jimenez has been out since Wednesday due to a stomach illness, but he now seems to be feeling better and will pick up a start at the hot corner against southpaw Zac Thornton.
