Chisholm is not in Sunday's lineup against the Pirates.

  • Nolan Arenado 3B | STL

Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Sitting again Sunday

Arenado is not in Sunday's lineup against the Giants.

Arenado will get the last two games of the season off. Jose Fermin is starting at the hot corner, batting ninth.

  • Donovan Solano 1B | TEX

Padres' Donovan Solano: Absent from Sunday's lineup

Solano is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Tyler Wade will start at third base Sunday and bat eighth.

  • Orioles' Emmanuel Rivera: Career game in Minnesota

Rivera went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double, a walk, four RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Twins.

Rivera has had to battle for playing time ever since he got to Baltimore, but he's produced with a .323/.380/.597 slash line over 26 games with the team. He doubled his homer total with the Orioles in a big game Saturday. Overall in 2024, he's slashing .240/.314/.346 with five homers, 29 RBI, 24 runs scored and two stolen bases across 300 plate appearances between the Orioles and the Marlins. With Baltimore having gotten healthier late in the regular season, Rivera may be limited to a bench role if he's included on the postseason roster.

  • Jared Triolo 3B | PIT

Pirates' Jared Triolo: Tallies ninth homer

Triolo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Saturday against the Yankees.

Triolo popped a two-run homer in the sixth inning to bring his total on the season to nine, three of which have come in September. His numbers for the campaign are subpar, though Triolo has managed to maintain a .263 batting average with a .701 OPS, 10 RBI and 10 runs scored across 22 starts in September.

  • Noelvi Marte 3B | CIN

Reds' Noelvi Marte: Logs one hit in loss

Marte went 1-for-3 and was caught stealing in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Cubs.

Marte logged one of three hits for the Reds, whose bats have gone very quiet over the final week of the season with a league-low .137 batting average. Cincinnati's lost five straight, including three shutouts, and been outscored 17-3. Marte is doing his best to put a disappointing season behind him, which began with an 80-game suspension due to a PED violation. He's gone 13-for-48 (.271) with four walks, four RBI and three steals over the last 14 games.

  • Donovan Solano 1B | TEX

Padres' Donovan Solano: Four hits in Saturday's win

Solano went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Diamondbacks.

Solano picked up his first multi-hit effort since Sept. 14, which was also a four-hit game. The 36-year-old had three singles before going yard in the ninth inning to provide some insurance runs. The infielder has had a decent September, batting .256 (21-for-82) with 10 extra-base hits, 15 RBI and four steals over 25 contests. He's been the Brewers' main third baseman in 2024, posting a .240/.331/.400 slash line with 11 steals, 11 home runs, 60 RBI and 58 runs scored across 141 games.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Smacks 39th home run

Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's 4-3 loss against the Astros.

Ramirez took Justin Verlander deep in the first inning, and he's now one homer away from a 40-40 season. If he plays in Sunday's season finale, Ramirez has a chance to become the first primary third baseman ever to post a 40-40 season.
