Suarez is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Mired in a slump that includes 10 strikeouts in his last 11 at-bats, Suarez will be spared a night in the starting lineup against Clayton Kershaw on Monday. Jordan Pacheco is making a spot start at third base in Suarez's absence.

Moustakas is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins, Joel Goldberg of Fox Sports Kansas City reports.

Moustakas will get the day off after going 0-for-7 in his first two starts back following his stint on the 15-day DL with a thumb injury. Whit Merrifield will get the start in his place but Moustakas should be back in the lineup next game barring further injury.

Escobar (groin) was officially activated from the disabled list Monday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

As expected, Escobar's groin is feeling good enough to warrant a return from the disabled list, allowing him to reclaim his spot as the primary shortstop for the Twins. To make room for him on the active roster, Jorge Polanco was optioned to Triple-A Rochester.

Escobar (groin) will be activated from the disabled list Monday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Escobar played three rehab games with High-A Fort Myers over the weekend, and it appears that was all the Twins needed to see before adding him back to the active roster. The team figures to confirm Escobar's activation and announce the corresponding roster move at some point prior to Monday's matchup with the Royals.

Asche (oblique) had his rehab assignment transferred to Double-A Reading on Sunday, Steve Patton of the Reading Eagle reports.

Asche went 0-for-4 in his first game for Reading after going 3-for-18 with a home run in five games with High-A Clearwater. The Phillies have not announced a plan for when Asche will come off the disabled list, but it will have to happen by the end of the month as there is a maximum of 20 days that he can be on a rehab assignment.

Longoria went 2-for-4 in Sunday's loss to the Tigers, extending his hitting streak to 10 games.

He's hitting .357 (15-for-42) over the course of the streak, pushing Longoria's slash line for May to a robust .306/.363/.569 with four home runs, 10 RBI and 13 runs scored.

Rendon went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a triple, a run scored and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Marlins.

He's definitely found his groove at the plate, and Rendon now has four multi-hit performances in his last five games while hitting .405 (17-for-42) over his last 12 outings. He hasn't homered since May 6, but six of those last 17 hits have gone for extra bases so it seems only a matter of time before he starts putting balls over the wall instead of into the gaps.

Donaldson went 1-for-4 with a solo homer Sunday at the Twins.

Donaldson launched his 11th homer of the season to give the Blue Jays a two-run lead in the first inning of the game they'd go on to win. After not homering in 16 games, he's now left the yard in two of his last three contests to raise his slugging percentage to .517.

Duffy went 1-for-4 on Saturday, swiping his fifth bag of the year in a win over the Cubs.

It has undoubtedly been a disappointing sophomore season for Duffy. With only third-base eligibility in most leagues, he has barely been worthy of a roster spot in standard formats. The increase in steals has been the only positive for Duffy so far, as he's on pace to swipe 20 bags, which is more on par with his career minor league totals. Looking ahead, his .260 BABIP is over 70 points lower than last year's mark, and he's striking out less and walking more. This tells us that he has been getting unlucky and things should turn around eventually.

Muncy went 2-for-3 in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Yankees.

The 25-year-old notched his first start since being called up from Triple-A Nashville on May 17, and responded with a pair of singles on an afternoon when the A's bats were largely silenced by Masahiro Tanaka. The productive performance is an extension of the solid resume that Muncy was building to date this season at the minor league level, as he'd slashed .279/.399/.459 over 122 at-bats in his Triple-A stint.
