Longoria went 2-for-5 with a solo home run during Thursday's loss to the Yankees.

The veteran entered the contest with a .346/.345/.538 slash line in July and only built on those numbers Thursday. Longoria is up to 16 homers, 62 RBI and 54 runs for the year, and with Tampa Bay making moves to improve around him, a strong finish to the season is well within reach.

Farmer was promoted from Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to this weekend's series against the Giants, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.

The Dodgers have yet to announce a corresponding move, but the fact remains that Farmer is set to make his first foray into the majors. Farmer adds catching depth and a right-handed bat off the bench for Los Angeles. Over 177 at-bats at Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, Farmer has slashed .316/.363/.503 with 20 extra-base hits.

Robinson started in center field and went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in Wednesday's 22-10 loss to the Marlins.

After Joey Gallo had slumped out of the All-Star break while still battling a sore hamstring, Texas manager Jeff Banister had made a concerted effort to find starts against right-handed pitching for Robinson, a 25-year-old utility man who had parlayed a strong showing at Triple-A Round Rock into a July 7 promotion. Robinson rewarded Banister's faith with home runs in two of his first four starts following the call up, but Gallo's improved health and performance has since rendered Robinson an afterthought. Robinson's entry into the lineup Wednesday marked his first appearance in more than a week, and the hitless showing certainly won't help his cause to pick up more at-bats.

Longoria went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Orioles.

The 31-year-old's July tear continues, with Wednesday's production bringing his monthly line to .346/.345/.538. The homer was only the third of the month for Longoria, but he's added six doubles and driven in 14 runs overall during that stretch. Longoria's slow start to 2017 had his average right at the Mendoza Line on May 3, but he's slashed .296/.334/.481 with 21 doubles, 11 round trippers and 48 RBI in 320 plate appearances across 73 games since that point.

Arenado went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Wednesday's 10-5 loss to the Cardinals.

The major-league RBI leader is now slashing .404/.429/.872 with six homers, 13 runs scored and 19 driven in since the All-Star break. Arenado is on pace to fall short of his third straight 40-HR campaign, but otherwise the 26-year-old is headed for another stellar season.

Bregman said he felt better Wednesday, a day after his hamstring tightened up while he rounded second base on the way to a triple, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bregman described his removal from Tuesday's game as precautionary, and the team will reassess his availability for Friday's series-opener in Detroit following Thursday's day off.

Moncada went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored during Wednesday's loss to the Cubs.

While Moncada is just 3-for-23 this season, two of his hits have gone for extra bases, and there is no denying his upside. It could be a rocky few months in 2017, but keeper/dynasty owners should definitely remain patient. Despite the potential, there's no guarantee that Moncada will be a universal fantasy asset this year, though.

Devers went 2-for-4 with his first big-league home run against Seattle on Wednesday.

It won't be his last MLB homer, that's for sure, but it could be his last for a little while, as the Red Sox just acquired Eduardo Nunez, who's likely to take over at third base on an everyday basis -- starting Friday against Kansas City. That'll probably ticket the 20-year-old Devers back to Triple-A, as it's hard to imagine how the Red Sox will be able to keep him in the lineup with Nunez in the fold, but no official decision has yet been made on that front.

Asuaje is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Mets.

Asuaje has hits in four of his last five starts, but he'll head to the bench for a night off with the left-handed Steven Matz taking the hill for New York. Jose Pirela will move to second base to replace him while Jabari Blast rounds out the lineup by filling the void in left field.

Urshela is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Angels.

Urshela looks like he'll continue to handle a near-everyday role while Jason Kipnis (hamstring) remains sidelined, but he'll take a seat following four consecutive starts. Jose Ramirez will move back over from the keystone to third base while Erik Gonzalez covers second.
