Farmer went 0-for-2 before being lifted for a pinch-hitter in Wednesday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

It's been a collective effort to replace Justin Turner (wrist) at the hot corner early this season, and Farmer got a rare taste of action Wednesday. Logan Forsythe will see most starts at third, with a combination of Enrique Hernandez, Chase Utley and Austin Barnes filling in at second, so don't expect anything more than the rare start at third base for the 27-year-old going forward.

Bregman went 1-for-3 with a walk and the game-winning RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Orioles.

Bregman, who has started every game so far, is hitting just .200 (5-for-25) through seven games, but has walked seven times and is currently riding a quiet four-game hitting streak. He's a good hitter and will eventually get his timing down.

Kieboom will open the year with High-A Potomac.

This seems like a natural progression for Kieboom, who only played 48 games in an injury-shortened campaign at Low-A last year, but hit .296/.400/.497 over that stretch. He has earned more of a challenge, and should handle himself well against High-A pitching. The 20-year-old shortstop should not be overlooked in dynasty leagues. He is a top 50 prospect for our purposes, thanks to the fact he could hit for a high average with 20-plus homer power while ending up at either shortstop, third base or second base.

Maggi was handed a 50-game suspension after testing positive for Amphetamine, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Maggi is with Triple-A Columbus after spending spring training with the Indians as a non-roster invitee. The infielder has yet to play a game at the major-league level and spent the entirety of the 2017 season with the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate.

Lewis will open the year back with Low-A Cedar Rapids.

A more aggressive organization may have sent Lewis, who hit .296/.363/.394 in 80 plate appearances with the Kernels last year, to High-A, but the Twins went the more rational route and sent him back to the Midwest League. It would not be surprising if he hit the ground running and forced a promotion to the Florida State League before he turns 19 on June 5.

Longoria is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Mariners, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Longoria has just one hit to his name this season (albeit a homer in Tuesday's tilt), so he'll head to the bench for a day off. Pablo Sandoval will make his first start of the season to replace him at the hot corner.

Segura went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Giants.

A 1-for-8 start over his first two games didn't faze Segura, who's bounced back to go 5-for-8 with two doubles, an RBI, Tuesday's walk and three runs over the subsequent pair of contests. One of the better pure hitters in baseball over the last two seasons, Segura's current surge serves as a tangible reminder of the upside he offers if he can remain healthier than 2017, when he played in only 125 games primarily due to a multi-week ankle injury.

Asche was shipped to the Yankees on Wednesday in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

Asche is expected to provide a little extra depth as a utility man for the Yankees in Triple-A, though it's unlikely that he will make much of an impact at the fantasy level even if he makes it up to the majors. The 27-year-old only appeared in 19 big-league games for the White Sox last season, hitting a measly .105/.177/.175 with 21 strikeouts in 57 at-bats.

Duffy is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Duffy will take a seat following a rough showing in the series opener Tuesday, when he went 0-for-5 and committed his second error of the season. Daniel Robertson will man third base in Duffy's stead.

Arenado went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Padres.

Arenado's bases-loaded double in the top of the third inning plated two runs and gave the Rockies a temporary lead, but the offense largely sputtered thereafter while the Padres teed off against the porous Colorado pitching staff. The 2-3 Rockies have scored more than four runs in just one of their five games this season, amounting to a disappointing start for one of baseball's best offenses in 2017. Expect the Colorado bats to heat up when the team kicks off a six-game homestand Friday, which should result in more run-scoring and run-producing opportunities for Arenado.
