Jordan Lawlar 3B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Jordan Lawlar: Lashes double, scores in win
Lawlar started at third base and went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Twins.
Lawlar lined a double to left field and scored in the Diamondbacks' three-run fourth inning. Following an initial 0-for-11 run upon being called up in late August, Lawlar is batting .304 (7-for-23) with five doubles, three RBI, two steals and four runs scored over last eight contests. He hasn't been an everyday member of the starting lineup, but that could change in the short term after Blaze Alexander (elbow) was removed from Sunday's game. Testing on Alexander's elbow came back negative, but it was very swollen postgame, per Steve Gilbert of MLB.com. He'll undergo further testing Monday and is day-to-day heading into that night's series opener against the Giants. Lawlar stands to benefit from any time Alexander misses, as those two have shared third base since the beginning of the month.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Yankees' Amed Rosario: Clubs homer in loss
Rosario went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Red Sox.
Rosario got the Yankees on the board by taking Garrett Crochet deep in the fourth inning. Playing time has been sparse for Rosario since he returned from a collarbone SC joint sprain Aug. 19, as he has played in just eight games over the last nearly four weeks. Overall, he has a .287/.320/.450 slash line with six homers, 21 RBI, 20 runs scored and one stolen base over 59 contests between the Yankees and the Nationals. For now, Rosario doesn't look to be a threat to Ryan McMahon's starting role at third base.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Astros' Isaac Paredes: Chance to return next weekend
Astros general manager Dana Brown said that Paredes (hamstring) could be activated from the 60-day injured list during next weekend's series versus the Mariners, though Brown conceded that Paredes' return by that time "could be a long shot," Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Paredes has been on the shelf since July 20 due to a significant right hamstring strain, but because he's elected to forgo surgery, he still has a chance at making it back on the field before the end of the regular season. The 26-year-old has been steadily ramping up at the Astros' facility in Florida in recent weeks, taking part in hitting, running and defensive progressions and most notably facing hitters in live batting practice Saturday. Under normal circumstances, Paredes would likely require an extended rehab assignment prior to being activated, but with the Astros in tight battles in both the AL West and wild-card race, he could bypass a minor-league stint and instead get built up through live at-bats prior to his reinstatement. Brown noted that because Paredes is further behind with his running and defensive work than his hitting at this stage of his rehab program, Paredes would be used as a designated hitter upon his return from the IL.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Tallies pair of steals
Lewis went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.
The former first-overall pick reached double figures in steals for the first time in his four-year career, as he notched his ninth and 10th stolen bases of the season. Lewis nabbed second off Arizona starter Nabil Crismatt in the second before returning in the eighth to swipe second against reliever Anthony DeSclafani. Through 356 total plate appearances, Lewis now sports a .237/.289/.395 slash line with 12 homers, 45 RBI and 35 runs scored.

Ernie Clement 3B | TOR
Blue Jays' Ernie Clement: Drives in three runs
Clement went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win against the Orioles.
Clement knocked a two-run double in the fourth inning and later added an RBI single in the seventh. It was his second straight game with multiple hits and the third such performance in his last five appearances. Clement improved his season slash line to .279/.314/.400 with 41 extra-base hits over 542 plate appearances.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
Angels' Yoan Moncada: Exits early Sunday
Moncada exited Sunday's contest against the Mariners in the fifth inning due to left ankle soreness.
Moncada was removed from the game prior to the bottom of the fifth, ultimately being replaced in the field by Oswald Peraza. He finished his day 0-for-2 with a strikeout at the plate, and Moncada can be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's day off prior to beginning a three-game set in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Blaze Alexander 3B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Blaze Alexander: Dealing with contusion
Alexander suffered a left elbow contusion in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rangers, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Alexander was hit by a pitch in the top of the fourth inning, ultimately exiting the contest as a result. He appears to have avoided any significant damage, and the 26-year-old is considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's series opener with the Giants at home.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Yankees' Ryan McMahon: Taking seat against southpaw
McMahon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
With ace southpaw Garrett Crochet on the bump for Boston, McMahon will head to the bench along with fellow left-handed hitters Trent Grisham and Austin Wells. McMahon's absence will open up third base for Amed Rosario, who will bat fifth.
-
Nathan Eaton RF | BOS
Red Sox's Nate Eaton: Idle for series finale
Eaton is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.
Eaton will take a seat for the series finale after he made starts out of the outfield in each of the last four games while going 5-for-12 with a home run, a double, a walk, a stolen base, two RBI and three runs. Boston will go with a starting outfield of Jarren Duran, Ceddanne Rafaela and Rob Refsnyder from left to right Sunday.

Blaze Alexander 3B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Blaze Alexander: Exits after being struck by pitch
Alexander was removed from Sunday's game against the Twins after being hit in the left elbow by a pitch in the top of the fourth inning, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports. He finished 0-for-1 with a run scored.
Alexander appeared to be in significant pain after being hit, but he was able to take his base before checking out of the game in the bottom half of the inning. The Diamondbacks will likely send Alexander in for X-rays, but even if he avoids a fracture, he could be dealing with enough swelling or soreness to keep him out of the lineup for a few days. Alexander had settled into an everyday role for the Diamondbacks in the aftermath of the July 31 trade deadline, batting .250 with seven home runs, one stolen base, 21 runs and 22 RBI in 41 games since then.
