Moncada went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and a walk in Friday's spring game against the Cubs.

Moncada plated three runs in the third inning on a deep fly to left field, notching his second home run this spring. He appears locked in at the plate, as he's gone 11-for-29 with seven RBI and eight runs scored in camp.

Rendon went 4-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs scored Friday against the Mets.

Rendon clubbed a two-run homer in the second inning and slugged a solo blast to left in the fourth. The 28-year-old third baseman has had a rough start to spring training, although Friday's performance could be just what he needs to get back on track. Rendon is now 7-for-27 with three homers, four RBI and five runs scored in camp.

Muncy (forearm) is not listed on the roster for Friday's spring game against the Reds, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Muncy was scratched from Thursday's lineup due to forearm irritation so it's unsurprising to see him out of the lineup only a day later. The Dodgers said the 28-year-old is considered day-to-day, so hopefully he'll only need a couple days to rest up before returning to action. Muncy was spotted taking ground balls but not throwing Friday, per Ken Gurnick of MLB.com.

Wisdom was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Wisdom had at least an outside shot of breaking camp with the team but won't get a chance to make an impact right away. The 27-year-old has spent the bulk of the last three season at Triple-A Memphis in the Cardinals' system, hitting .256/.327/.466.

Duffy (hamstring) was able to run at approximately 70 percent speed Thursday without issue and could field grounders Sunday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Duffy confirmed he was able to get through his workout without setbacks and proceeded to get some hitting work in afterwards. The goal is to get Duffy back into game action at some point next week, a step that would be preceded by live batting practices. Duffy confirms that he and the Rays are opting to take his recovery slower after he suffered a setback earlier in March, although he concedes he still may not be ready for Opening Day. However, even if Duffy isn't in uniform for the first game of the regular season, manager Kevin Cash confirms it won't be for lack of spring reps. "He doesn't have to have 50 at-bats," Cash said. "That's not a concern for us. I think if he clears himself healthy and gets out there enough where he's been tested, then he's fine."

Peterson went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI on Thursday against the Twins.

Peterson drove in a run during the fourth inning on a groundout and clubbed a two-run homer in the sixth to put the Orioles up by one. He's gone 8-for-25 in spring games to this point and will continue to compete for a spot on the Opening Day roster, although he'll likely serve as a utility man even if he does break camp with the big-league club.

Bregman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run Thursday against the Marlins.

Bregman belted a home run in the first inning to give the Astros a two-run lead, his second of spring training. Following Thursday's performance, he's 5-for-13 with four RBI and two runs scored.

Newman went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and three RBI against the Phillies on Thursday.

He also stole his first base of the spring. Newman's big game may have moved him ahead of Erik Gonzalez in the starting shortstop competition. Gonzalez is batting just .120 in 25 Grapefruit League at-bats. Newman holds a career .288 batting average in the minors and stole 28 bases at Triple-A in 2018.

Manager Kevin Cash said Thursday that he remains optimistic Duffy (hamstring) will be ready to play in the Rays' regular-season opener March 28 versus the Astros, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Duffy has experienced multiple setbacks with his hamstring this spring and remains without a clear timeline to return to the Grapefruit League lineup, but he said he feels good after the latest recurrence of the injury. Per Topkin, Duffy was slated to run at about 70-percent speed Thursday and is expected to resume fielding drills Sunday. Cash noted that Duffy's veteran status means he won't necessarily require a full complement of at-bats to gear up for Opening Day, so even only a few game appearances over what's left of the Rays' spring schedule might be enough for the infielder to avoid a stint on the injured list.
